How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

- staff was not very friendly: — we arrived early morning around 8am and when we entered the property the lady at the counter didn’t even greet us, she just nodded her head at us which i found really impolite. — when we arrived to put our luggage down we ate some of the leftover breakfast that was on the table. that same lady made a few sarcastic remarks and complained about it to another staff on the phone in front of us instead of telling us nicely that we weren’t allowed to do that. - huge cockroach in the toilet sink at night - the curtain pole (which was just a random wooden pole) at our bed kept falling off the hooks and we had to keep putting it back up throughout our stay which was very annoying. - air conditioning was acting up on our second night - kept turning itself off after a few minutes which made it really warm as there is no ventilation of air from the room into our bed area, i had to toggle with the remote many times to get it to work - in some cubicles the toilet bowl and the shower are put together which i found a bit off putting - some shower cubicles only had body soap which they self labelled “body soap and shampoo”
- very convenient location, very nearby a local train station (formosa boulevard station) - breakfast was included (730am-930am) - breakfast was pretty good with bread, croissants, salad, and juice - had a few games we could play - pretty clean bed and bathroom

There are too many mosquitoes in the toilets and sitting areas. staff don't care about anything. There is coffee, but when I ask for sugar, they don't give it. I wanted to take a shower on the day of checkout , they asked me for more money

Overall, this was a disappointing place: not very clean, really basic breakfast, one laundry machine but no dryer. I had to hang my laundry to dry in the back room, where I saw cockroaches... after it rained the laundry was soaked because humidity came from the back door, had to go to a laundromat to wash all over again. It is cheap, so it is an ok option for a very short stay, but don't expect much.

There where rats or something behind the bed, you could hear them running around. The breakfast is not the same as the pictures. Just white bread and jam.

There is no WiFi in the dormitory, or the entire third floor where it is located. The bed curtain is really thin and doesn't fully close the gap, meaning if anyone has a light on it shines straight through. There is no space to leave bags or hang clothes in the dormitory, so it gets very cluttered. It is very difficult to climb the ladder to the top bunk. There is only one key for two people for the double bed bunk, but the dormitory door automatically locks so one of you has to stay inside while the other takes the key to go to the bathroom etc. Bad ventilation in the room. The social area is small, just a single dining table.
The bed is comfortable. There are boardgames in the social area. The WiFi in the social area was good.

The receptionist is nice and approachable and the ambience of the hotel is cool and the place is easy to access to lots of leasure place.

The room is freaking small and smelly. Even the bathroom also smelly and very dirty. I didnt enjoy my stay here at all and just want to check out very very soon. They serve you free coffee but no any sugar or even a spoon. No any person in charge at receptionist.
Nothing, I really had bad experience.

toilets are quite smelly. I was in a hurry and needed to print my electronic visa for my next destination and they didn’t help me out with that (it was just a B&W piece of paper 😮💨)

we are staying in a dorm with 6 double bed, may need to be silent as we stay together with some elderly
we reach after 11pm and the staff help us to put the key behind the counter. so latecomer no need worry about it.
