Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThe place is a little run down and old. The beds are a little hard, with an odd smell in some of the rooms, ( she did change us Room when asked) Some facilities offered are not offered ( cable TV) A little noisy in the front rooms from the rd She's trying her best.
The owner is trying her best, the front is brightly coloured The location is near everything,the lake, boats,eating, and shops very close to the bus terminal. The place is a little run down and old , the front is like an old shop, but she'll sell anything.

GermanyEverything feels really old, like a dusty motel vibes. It rained during the night and the sound on the roof was so loud that we couldn’t sleep. The bathroom feels really old. Overall super expensive for the quality.

United KingdomThe bed was a little hard but easily got used to it and slept very well once dosed off. Other than that small detail, I would say I was pleased with the whole experience.
The location was ideal! Right down the road from where the bus drops you and picks you up and to top it all off the pier is only a short walk the other way! The room was good perfect for a stop over and the staff were brilliant super helpful with all our questions and went out of their way to help with things not related to the hotel. On top of this they allowed us to store our rucksacks there all day after checking out so we could continue exploring the area. Would 100% recommend staying here if you are in the area

SingaporeHotel was nothing like the pictures when we visited. It seems to be ran by 1 elderly lady who's seemingly the owner and although rather nice, is quite quirky. Think - very long nails and colourful layered scarfs, many beads bracelets, with bright red lipstick. Nothing wrong definitely, just not very suitable for a hotel that was advertised as a normal stay rather than some quirky home stay. The lobby lights were off most of the time and half the lobby was used for selling off season clothings on dusty racks and half the hotel's shutters were shut 24/7. It was dark and honestly rather scary entering it. Our room, oh lord our room stunk to the high heavens with horrible stale cigarettes smell despite us requesting for a non-smoking room. Thank goodness we visited during the cold season, air conditioner was impossible to use as it was spewing out the most terrible cigarettes stench from probably layers of filth from God knows how long ago. Needless to say, we were coughing within 10 seconds and had to off it for the whole of our stay and open the windows instead. Our room was facing the main road, so you can imagine the noise from traffic even late into the nights, and we rather deal with that than the stench. Our bed was old and creaky, we can hear and literally feel the springs in the middle of the bed. Rang room service multiple times and the phone was never ever picked up. Elderly lady/Owner was missing when when went down. I was actually scared of talking to her due to her quirkiness. This was honestly our worse hotel stays ever, it was so bad that we rather stayed out tolerating the cold, sitting at the nearby Starbucks until as late as we could before struggling mentally to make our way back each night. Thank goodness it was only 2 nights, as that felt like forever. It isn't cheap by the way, we actually paid more on booking.com compared to the rates advertised by the owner there. Sigh!
