Hotel facilities are old and really need a good uplift. The tile gaps around bath has black spots, seems to be mould stain. Shower head bracket is not proper. Wifi is very bad.

Staff is very helpful, location is close to Metro station. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby

The water dispenser at the lobby always run out of water in those 3 days of stay.

Very clean room and comfortable bed. I like the wooden flooring and it feels clean on the feet even without wearing the room slippers. Room slippers are provided anyway. It is spacious. Bottled water and snacks are provided. It’s very conveniently located near the MRT station, in a nice area.

No towel for brushing my body. Also, they don’t memorize what customers look like, so you may need to show your key card to them to enter the hotel. It find it a bit annoying but not a big deal.

First of all, this hotel has excellent position. It only takes one minute to the MRT Station. Then, The room is pretty aesthetic and well-cleaned. I can feel that they really put effort into cleaning that when I back to my room, it’s just feel like a new room.

The heater is not work, so the temperature inside keep in 17 degrees, no hot water in water sink and they have to fix the shower because it's almost feel down from the wall.

The location is very convenient, so near with MRT station and convenient store. The hotel room is good, quite place not too much noise. Good for rest. Hotel staff is fine. Overall it's okay.

sound proofing could be improof. however, this is a 30+ years old hotel, and it does not have too many noisy customers. I had only encounter one night with noise next door.

The location is perfect ! I was able to fully utilizing the MRT and other public transportation in Taipei. There are so many hidding gem(s) around that area. The Westlake city public library is the "must see" in compare with San Francisco's branch libraries. The "Second Floor Cafe" is right across the street, thumbs up all the way and the price was WTF low, LOL ! The hotel front desk personnel were very friendly and knowlegeble about the city in and out, and they were able to provide me with many tips for different "Night Markets" around the city, place(s) to see beside all the tourist spots. The house cleaning crew were also very friendly and provide very good cleaning services.

Imagine the only window is located on the upper location of the shower, and the bath tub is made of cheap plastic, you can feel it's shaking when you stand on it, i was so afraid to broke it. I don't know what's wrong with there air condition, it keep blowing even you turned it off, it made tons of noise. Please treat yourself better and select another hotel.

My stay was great and exceeded my expectations. It's not the most modern accommodation, but it was cozy and had everything I needed. The air conditioning was a bit too strong (too cold) even after I adjusted the temperature, so you might want to bring an extra blanket or jacket for the room. Overall, I had a pleasant stay.

Location does not suit the tourists, Reception could have been more hospitable and understanding to avoid clashes with the guests. Had to make a gigantic effort before getting our 2 rooms on the same floor though not next to each other.
