Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

DenmarkA decent stay in a great location, close to public transport and vibrant night markets. The room was comfortable but felt a bit more dated than expected. Communication with the host was a bit tricky without the LINE app, so I’d recommend reaching out in advance. Otherwise, a convenient option for exploring Kaohsiung!

The bath tub. It's so rare to have bath tubs nowadays. The room is also very well equipped. The location is also great.

AustraliaThe shower position is not practical and you can't change the angle of the shower head. There is a large rubbish cart in front of the hotel entrance which is not hygienic.
Great location, walking distance to night market and subway station. The room is spacious, separate toilet and bathroom.

Hong KongThe showerhead is great! But the showerhead holder angle is too vertical. It makes the water go over the toilet seat towards the bathroom door. Maybe it's better to add a shower curtain to divide the shower area and toilet seat.
Easy access with passcode. Close to the subway exit and night market. A pretty new and stable elevator 👍🏼 . I feel safe. Make sure you contact to LINE for check-in. Elevator passcode changes daily. Check your LINE message to see if any new passcode when return.

United StatesWhy didn't the shower have a shower curtain?
You can leave your suitcase unattended on the top floor if you are trying to drop them off. Amount of space was generous. Very close to the metro and several breakfast options, which was great.

JapanThe check in process is a little odd (and it can be hard to figure out how to drop off your luggage in advance) but we figured it out. The airconditioner was really loud (but I admit I am really sensitive to noise, my partner had no problem with it)
Good location near Formosa MRT and one of the major night markets. Clean and quiet building.

United StatesThis is not a traditional hotel. It is not staffed with anyone. You enter the building straight to the elevators. No lobby area. The room has a fridge and a hot water kettle and I think a coffee maker (I don't drink coffee so I didn't use it and it wasn't your traditional coffee pot. Similar to a Keurig) but no microwave. I didn't need to ask for any extra items during my stay as they supplied us with plenty of bath towels but I would think it would be difficult to get any service as there is no one there except for the housekeeper. I know if I needed anything such as linens she would probably helped me but most people wouldn't know she was even there or how to access her. Since I went up to the roof level frequently that's why I knew she was there. But I also don't assume she is there all day. The air conditioning in the Japanese style bedroom had some issues with staying cold but I was able to figure it out on my own and got it working properly again. When my trash got full I took it upstairs to the roof level where there is another trash receptacle to keep the trash from piling up in our room. The pillows were a bit stiff but I've found during my 14 day stay here in Taiwan that firm beds and pillows are a norm.
The deluxe family suite accommodated all 5 of us very comfortably. I loved having a second floor for the bedrooms and the beds were firm but comfortable. The Japanese style bedroom was a cute touch and we slept 3 with plenty of stretch space. We also had 2 full bathrooms. The decor was beautiful but not overdone. Stairs were not too steep. Was not difficult to get luggage upstairs. Location was close to a very nice night market and plenty of restaurants and a seven eleven just across the street. A nice breakfast spot right on the corner with good scallion pancakes! The housekeeper was so kind. I saw her most every day and she always greeted us! The water filling station on the roof level was a nice touch. We used this frequently to refill our water bottles daily. There is a roof access but I wouldn't say it had any great views. I would definitely recommend this location if traveling with a larger group and need a larger accommodations.

PolandThe no-front-desk policy caused a little hiccup. Halfway through our stay the code for the elevator changed and while the staff sent us information to that effect, it did not reach us because we had no way to get online other than through the hotel's wifi (and we could not get to the room bc the elevator was not working for us) . So if you plan to stay there be sure to be online all the time (maybe buy a local sim card?)
The room looked exactly as in the photos, very new and elegant.
