Secured entrance to main building. Quick response and good communication from Hotel Staff/owners. We had a Deluxe Quadruple Room. Room and bathroom are moden, clean and spacious. We love the design. The walking distance to Kaoshiung Arena MRT station is longer than it looked on Google Map but still walkable. It rained continuously for all the days that we were there so the walks seemed awfully longer. Not many breakfast choices around the area.

Location was a 5-min walk from Ruifeng Night Market so late-night dinners are not a problem. There is a convenience store and a supermarket between the hotel and Ruifeng so that was also very convenient. The staff who checked us in was a friendly lady who stayed back to allow us to check in late. No issues with the room at all. Looks exactly like the photos in the website.

My recent stay at Luna's House Homestay in Kaohsiung was truly delightful. From the moment we arrived, Madam Xu, the gracious proprietress, made us feel like family.The homestay exudes a cozy charm, with comfortable rooms and all the amenities one could need for a relaxing stay. What truly set this place apart, however, was the warmth and hospitality of Madam Xu. She went above and beyond to ensure that we felt welcome and at home throughout our stay. One of the highlights of our visit was Madam Xu's kind gesture of personally driving us to the HSR station on the day of our departure. This unexpected act of kindness truly touched our hearts and made our experience at Luna's House even more memorable. Madam Xu's genuine care for her guests is evident in every detail, from the adequate pantry she has for guests, to the thoughtful advice she offered about exploring Kaohsiung. Her dedication to providing exceptional service is commendable and sets Luna's House apart as a top-notch homestay option in the area. Without a doubt, I will be returning to Luna's House Homestay on my next visit to Kaohsiung. I booked this hotel thinking it is walking distance to Kaohsuing High Speed Rail station, but it is not. (There are 2 Kaohsiung train stations). Our booked train was early in the morning, before the reception was staffed. So we could not get their help to call a taxi.

Homely feel with shared full kitchen, free coffee and hot choc etc. Very nicely decorated themed rooms in this ariBnB type boutique hotel. Owner communication was excellent.

- The bed was a bit too hard for my personal liking - The parking spot was outside in the open. Making me feel less secured and unprotected from the sun.

- The location was good for my need due to travelling for work. There are plenty of shops nearby for food, shopping, massage...etc. - The morning staff and I believe it was the owner (older lady) were very friendly. The night staff was less friendly as she doesn't greet guests entering or leaving the B&B (please don't be misunderstood as this place doesn't include breakfast) - The room was very clean and spacious - The room doesn't really separate noises from the outside, BUT I had a good night sleep as my neighbors were very quiet after 9pm already.

The bathroom size is a bit on the small size, and the fridge froze the water. Other than that, a great place to stay.

The bed was really comfortable. The room size is great. The manager of the place was fantastic! Incredibly friendly and very helpful. The location is great, walking distance to the night market. Easy check-in and check out process.

Luna House is conveniently located near Zuoying HSR. The room is clean and spacious, just nice for a couple. The toilet is big and comes with all amenities. The staff is polite and friendly. They welcomed us when we checked in at midnight; and provided a map with many recommendations for vegetarian food as we are vegetarians. They offer to help us buy breakfast from nearby eatery. There is a nice kitchen with dining table for us to get hot drinks and coffee. The lady boss is exceptionally friendly and warm. She drove us to Ziyou traditional market to buy local produce and we got great buys! She even shopped and recommended nice stalls to us. She also sent us to Zuoying HSR station when we checked out. We feel very much at home!

The room was very large, split level with a separate sleeping area and cozy reading nook for our child. The decor was animal themed which my child loved. The main bed was huge and comfortable and the room was very clean. The staff were very friendly and allowed us to check out about 45 mins late with no extra fee. Although no breakfast is available the hotel provides fresh fruit, cookies and drinks which was wonderful, and there is a good breakfast shop a few minutes walk away. The location is in a quiet area but walking distance to Ruifeng night market and a short drive to the lotus pond.

Steven, the host, and his staff were extraordinarily friendly and helpful with all issues and questions. His English is perfect and he was available 24/7 . He gave great tips regarding food and sightseeing. Nightmarket 3 minutes walking distance.

Flawless execution. Great location, close to many things. The whole building is extremely clean. The rooms are large and comfortable. The price is great. Best of all, the hotel staff gave brilliant recommendations on not to be missed places to eat nearby which saved alot of leg work and made our stay easy and without complication.

We stayed for 2 nights and fresh towels were provided on the 2nd day but the beds were not made up, which was a bit strange as they entered the room anyways, but it was not a big issue.

The host, Steven, was extremely helpful and courteous. I had made a booking for room with 2 single beds and soon after receiving my booking, he contacted me to advise me the unavailability of the room and suggested several alternatives. We then booked the room with extra wide queen bed, with the balcony. Although facing the street, noise was not an issue and we enjoyed our breakfast out at the balcony. He was also very welcoming upon our check-in and showed us all the amenities and the special decor around our room. The especially nice touch was the star-lit elevator which felt very space-like and he took pictures for us to capture the surreal feel. The water pressure was strong and temperature was steady. The location to Ruifeng Night Market and various convenient markets and stores. Steven was extremely helpful in giving us directions and suggestions to good restaurants around the hotel.

Cozy, small hotel with personal attention for you as a guest. Local knowledge is shared and recommemdations for restaurants and trips are readily available. All rooms are different. Mine had a double bed. The bed was uncommonly soft for an Asian hotel, but the owner will adapter to your needs as required. The hotel does not serve breakfast ,but this gave me an opportunity to sample the local breakfast scene It adds to the experience. .

The manager Steve was exceptionally kind and patient with us. He provided in depth recommendations and maps of the area, taking into care our preferences. We tried two restaurants he recommended and both were great. Room was spotless and comfortable. Bed was really comfortable.
