There were strange wet fabrics in my locker when I checked in and stains on my bed, which made me question whether the rooms were cleaned properly.

One of the dirtiest bathrooms I stayed. And the rooms were not really comfortable. I stayed at so many hostels way more clean and comfortable for cheapest price than this

Bathrooms were dirty and smelly. Toilets smelled like pee, showers were not clean & Hair everywhere. The floor in front of the showers was wet and the shelves too small. if you drop your clothes you’ll have to wear something wet. one of our bed had bedbugs. We did not get an apology nor any compensation. they got very defensive saying “that can’t be we clean well” (Even showed them the bed and the legs that where covered in bites.) On top of that we had to pay for the towel we needed to shower off the bed bugs. Even without the bedbugs, worst hostel I’ve been to.

The wifi in the room wasn't good.

The price was very low but the quality very good. I had a room for my own (weekday). The chill area was very nice.

They lock the common areas at 2am until the morning. This was not made clear (quite the contrary, the booking.com listing states there is a shared lounge/common area, and they have a booklet next to the elevator that says it is open 24h). It screwed up my wife's internatinal buisness meeting. Also don't count on late-night snacking; you are only allowed to eat in the common areas (which, again, they close without telling you in advance). The Wifi barely worked in the room. Kept disconnecting, and even when it didn't it was very slow. They do not have a shoe rack or anything of the sort in the enterance, so everyone just hangs with their dirty stinky shoes inside the shared rooms. The pub/bistro was never open, photos are misleading.q

You have to make your own bed with flat sheets they give you even for the pillow. My bed and blankets were super stinky (I guess some people didn't use the flat sheets correctly). Bathroom not the cleanest. Location is not ideal for a first time in Taichung you are far from main attractions.

Commun areas are great to socialize. It's the cheapest stay in Taichung.

The staff were moody. The bathroom and toilets were not clean. The room was smelly, mouldy, and cramped.

Unfortunately, the cleanliness and overall experience in the room were very disappointing. We checked in at 2 a.m. and found the shower in a poor state: hair everywhere, water all over the floor, creating a puddle. Even by the next morning, nothing had been cleaned. Additionally, we had to put the sheets on ourselves, which was quite inconvenient after a long journey, especially at 2 a.m. when we didn’t want to make noise and disturb other guests. The bathroom also lacked proper storage, making it difficult to hang clothes, and the risk of them falling into the puddle was high. What was even more concerning was that the hairdryers were placed dangerously close to the floor, with some lying in stagnant water. This is a serious safety hazard, as the plugs were exposed and the dryers weren’t mounted to the wall.

The hotel looks beautiful and has a lot of potential. One of the biggest highlights is the staff—they are incredibly attentive and truly adorable. They go out of their way to help and make your stay pleasant, which is a huge plus.

The bed we had to make up ourselves were very small. The pillowcase was like a napkin so when you move a little bit during your sleep you end up sleeping on a dirty pillow without pillow sheet. That was very inconvenient. The toilets were smelly all the time.

We like how accessible it is to the bus station. Right smack infront of the premise 👍🏼 the night market is also behind the premise.

The room is way to small. It's difficult for 2 people to be in a 4 beds room at the same time unless they're in bed. The cleaniness of bathroom/restroom is awful. It doesn't smell but it's not clean at all.
