I needed to change dates twice because of the typhoon, but the procedure to move my dates was very confusing, having to communicate back and forth on Line and booking.com was very stressful and I thought the staff could have been more understanding given the situation. There was only one small window in the room. Kitchen facilities are limited (no knives, no toaster, only microwave.) doors are very loud, they perhaps could be sealed to minimize the noise

The reception is open from 12 noon to 9.00 pm, before that time, no one is there. In case you have questions, you have to install Line (you get a quick response though). No elevator.

Location is great, near supermarkets and stores to rent a bicycle (Giant store and Fuji). Staff is friendly I had a room on the ground floor, really spacious Free use of hot and cold water, and you can use the microwave in the kitchen to heat up your food (if needed). A lot of parking space

I have nothing negative to say about this stay, only that I wish I could’ve stayed longer!

It was in a quiet part of town, they provide a wonderful home/room with a fun side yard and badminton equipment. Near by a few local restaurants a post office and 2 7/11s. The bathroom was nice and clean, and the beds were very soft and comfortable! Great price for a three bed room too, plus the lighting looked great! Staff was also very friendly and helpful/informative.

Location is great, walking distance to night market and 鐵花村。The shower head was amazing, the strongest water coming out that I wish I have that at home. The staff was friendly and helpful when we checked in and able to communicate with them through line app when needed.

Good on all levels. Receptionist was awesome, helped me to check in early and is fast with Google Translate. Local friendly cat usually sleeps on the shoe shelf, very old and relaxed. Some kitchen tools available. Location is quiet, but good.

Their location is a bit out of the center, which is a little inconvenient if you don't have your own transportation. They don't provide breakfast, and it would be nice if they did, as there doesn't seem to be a breakfast place within easy walking distance.

Tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Very comfortable beds with 2 pillows per person. Spacious and well-designed ensuite bathroom with a proper shower stall so your toilet seat doesn't get wet when you shower (something that is often a problem at budget Taiwanese hotels). They have a very pleasant lawn and garden adjacent to the building, with a badminton net set up and rackets and birdies available for guests to use.

There wasn’t an elevator.

This homestay had been newly renovated and had really clean facilities overall. If you are able to rent a scooter or don’t mind walking 15-20 minutes to get to downtown Taitung City, then it’s a good location. The homestay also let us keep our baggage at the front until our train departed in the early afternoon after check-out.

There were mosquitoes in our room even though we didn’t open the windows. The decor was plain and the lighting was quite harsh. There were stains on the furniture and cushions.

It was mostly clean and the bed was comfortable. The room was spacious and the kitchen is well equipped. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Room at second and third floor without lift is a big problem for us over 60 years old with a big luggage.

Check-in is very late: 4 pm, but luggages could be stored as of 12 pm. Reception was not available despite mentioned hours and doesn't seem to be schooled to answer usual touristy questions, which is a pity. The room itself looked a bit older than shown in the pictures, especially the bathroom.

We liked the common area and the availability of snacks and drinks.

There was a lot of humidity in the bathroom, it didn't look very clean and we had to keep the door closed because it smelled awful. Especially because of the humidity they need to clean it properly. The staff girl was more busy to play on her phone than to answer any question we could have.

The location was ok, the building looks fine and the rooms are big.

Mosquitoes! Everywhere!

Cozy and simple settings. Feeling like staying in a friend's home. The best thing is we can use the kitchen, microwave, coffee machine and fridge.
