Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesHotel appears to have a policy of not allowing ANYONE to check in before 3pm, regardless of the room availability. Hotel is comfortable but toilet/shower is visible from beds in rooms. Hotel is not optimally located for tourism. There is a very nice gym available for a nominal charge.

DenmarkThe massage on the 17th floor was so-so, and the attitude of staff and general outlook of the place doesn't match the high standard of the rest. I won't recommend booking this, there are way bettee massage places around Banqiao Station for a similar price. Also, there are new rules in Taiwan so hotels doesn't provide slippers, handsoap, toothbrush etc. For free anymore. I feel in this more high standard hotel it would be good to offer at least slippers and handsoap when you check in as a part or the package. I did bring my own, but tourists from outside might not come prepared like that.
Very new hotel, just 10 mins walk from Banqiao train, high-speed rail and metro station. I got a very nice spacious room with a great view of Banqiao District. There is a huge Louisa Coffee just downstairs.

SingaporeStrangely enough, there is no hand soap provided at the sink. Having read the reviews online, we decided to bring our own hand soap. However, it would be nice if the hotel could provide a refillable bottle of soap as that seems to is an essential item.
The room was clean, spacious and well-lit with mirrors aplenty. Space was used efficiently with sliding doors utilised. It was interesting how you could view the TV from the shower area if you wanted to or block the sink and shower area off with a door for privacy. The wall length windows of our room gave us an excellent view of the surrounding city and mountains. The staff were also helpful and assisted us in booking a taxi at 5am in the morning.

SingaporeIt is about 10mins walk from Banqiao Station. We weren’t that troubled by that because we taxied to most places but it might be a bother if you have alot of bags and taking the train.
We managed to book their Family room. The space was well designed, had good wifi (and Chromecast) and slept 4 persons comfortably. The hotel onsen was a treat after a busy day out too. Most of the staff could speak English and the cleaner was friendly. We even extended a night seeing how comfortable it was and we had a red eye flight and although we had to move to a smaller room because our room was booked, the hotel was very accommodating and we could move to the new room way before check-in time.

Hong KongThere was no liquid soap near the washing basin. It has been a comment by other visitors but still it hasn’t been addressed to. For the hot spring, the automatic door between the dressing area and the hot spring did not work. It needs repairing. Besides, there’s an open area outside the hot spring. The door leading out was open. The other buildings can view what’s inside when the wind blows the curtain away. (The hot spring is Japanese style) The privacy was not attended to.
The room is spacious and the there is a hot spring on the top floor. I requested for a room with a good view. The staff did give me a room with a good view.

United StatesNo soap dispenser for handwashing, but there are dispensers for body wash and shampoo, so it appears to be an oversight. Also no coin laundry in this hotel even though it has so many other facilities like a café, parking, and many restaurants. Would have been nice to have one so you do not have to drag your laundry outside the property.
Lots of free water bottles for Taipei hot summers. Nice modern and clean look for the rooms.
