How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

It is not visually appealing outside compared to inside
Great hospitality, the staff is friendly and helpful. The space is clean and welcoming. They allowed me to keep my luggage in the lobby and they were kept safe.

Might be because I booked on Booking.com and an error happened or something, but when I got to the property at about midnight there was a code needed to get inside the door which had not been provided to me. Luckily, there was a QR code on the door that allowed me to message the owner on Line, who luckily was awake and replied. Otherwise, I would've been stranded outside.
The price was great as well as the room and building.

It’s a great facility, next to the airport, clean, quiet and has everything you need. It’s about 5 min by taxi from the airport, maybe less. The best thing about the place tho, is the owner. This is a 24h self check in facility, and the owner is always in touch with you to make sure everything is fine. Make sure to check the information about the place before booking, so you know how it works. Also is the best price you will find around the area for the quality you get.

Nothing , the owner is very available and will provide nothing you need
- hotel was really close to the airport : it takes 11 minutes by taxi for a cost of 215 NTD or 20 minutes by bus for a cost of 25 NTD. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel and goes to both terminal ( bus #1841 or 1842) - much cheaper that staying directly at the airport - the host was so friendly and spoke really good English - free tea available - there is a variety of food and accessories you can buy from the place in case you need anything ( toothbrush, underwear, dry noodles, cookies etc )

The bathroom was sketchy in the women's dorms, huge bathroom but when you shower it makes all the floor wet and flooded (clogged), no sink in there to wash your hands. They have a separate toilet room with sink but you have to go downstairs. Feels dated in there. The AC unit in the female dorm drips out of nowhere and it is loud, it woke everyone up. The reason why they have good review and rate online is because they bribe them with free ice cream for good review. When I booked this stay online, it says no cash. But, the day before, they told me to get cash because they only take cash. So sketchy. Never again. I will just stay in Taipei for better hotel for the same price.
I like that it is close to the Airport because the capsule hotel at the airport is full. I was lucky a staff was there to check me in. But for the rest of new guests they have to self check in.

Maybe the environment (street and surroundings) isn't very appealing but it's more than convenient if, like me, you're going to or coming from the airport.
I was staying in the mixed dormitory and I really appreciated how the room allows you to have your privacy. Plus, the staff and boss are helpful and very kind. Great equipment and decent price, I recommend. Easily accessible too.

Thank you to the host for taking care of me. This hostel is located near the airport, making it very convenient to get to. It's clean, comfortable, and has all the amenities you need, including food and drinks that guests can serve themselves. There are also bicycles that guests can borrow to use nearby. The bus stop for the airport is right in front of the hostel, just a few meters away. When coming from the airport, you can get off the bus on the opposite side and cross the street to the hostel. It's also very convenient for getting back to the airport quickly from the bus stop in front of the hostel. The host was kind and helpful, even after I had checked out. Upon arrival, I took a taxi. At check-out, I followed Google Maps' wrong instructions to cross the street and catch the bus on the other side, which was the direction to Taipei. After walking quite a distance, about 1 km, I was having trouble finding the bus stop. The host noticed me and crossed the street to follow me. He told me I was going the wrong way and helped me cross back to the bus stop in front of the hostel. When the bus arrived, he helped me communicate with the driver in Chinese, telling him which terminal I was going to and how much to pay for my baggages. I am impress for the host's assistance.
