A very cozy, comfortable and reasonably priced accommodation located in the middle of Jiufen street. Friendly hosts(including dogs and cats) will welcome you. (You’d better to find the slope to the house on the right side of the bus parking lot rather than the long stairs.) All you have to do is enjoy the beautiful port view out of the window.

It was a very long trek down from Jiufen Old Town to get to Sunny Room. If we had brought our rolling luggage, that would not have worked.

Breakfast was hearty and delicious. The view of the mountains from the room was breathtaking. The organic sloping bathroom walls was charming.

Do take note if bringing many luggage and having kids or elderly as Jiufen is a hilly region and definitely stairs to get to any accommodation. No worries about luggage as the owner helps to bring them from the bus stop on the main street and back up if help is needed. Just inform and request from them!

The view was great and this place is away from the busy streets, great for families who want to enjoy nature and the scenic view of Jiufen. Family room was huge and more than enough space for family of 5. Owner is a lovely lady and her family and friendly dogs around. We love the hospitality and friendliness and the kids felt at home and enjoyed the stay and the area within the space more than the crowded Jiufen streets.

There’s the occasional smell of sewage in the toilet, but it dissipates and was not a problem.

Clean and comfortable. Location was good and the overall vibe of the property was good. Staff were all friendly and responsive, and the dogs were so adorable.

Everything was perfect. The view was stunning. People were welcoming and ready to help, especially for the vegetable breakfast which were perfect. The bedroom was confortable and cute.

Very friendly, polite staff. One of them spoke english. Very accomodating to our request for vegetarian breakfast etc. There were 2 dogs which were super cute.and friendly. Our room was on 2 levels. Lower level had 2 beds and upper level one bed. Although we liked the upper level more - we had to sleep in the lower level as we had young kids and all the luggage had to be squeezed in there although it was a bit tight. Location was good - a long flight of stairs and you are in the heart of jiufen

Balcony chair reclined too much and couldn't be adjusted or changed to upright.

Everything in Sunny Room is good. Except that the location is a bit far from the old street. But then, it is also a good idea to stay some distance away from the hustle bustle

a little high price but acceptable.

The room was clean and well organized. Staffs are friendly. The room and resort have a very beautiful view. It is a little cafe in the area, but I don't have a chance to try the foods. ++ They provided a dehumidifier in the room which I think important for very high humidity here in Jiufen. :)
