MalaysiaA lot alot alot of bugs and spiders in the room & bathroom. Worse is there are termites & red ants in the room , at the entrance of the room and it crawl all over the bed. Property is quite run down and our room were located next to their storeroom.
It’s located near jiufen. Staff are friendly.

SingaporeThe terrace is not as nice as in the pictures. The furniture is old and unappealing. The staff is not very friendly. The person who took care of check-in was ungry with us for not letting him know in advance that we were a family of 5 beforehand. We had booked a quadruple room as we had done all along our trip without problems (we fit perfectly well). This guy made us pay NTD$800 additional to our initial booking fare. They placed an extra bed in the room that we didn’t need. We have been traveling in Taiwan for a while now and we have been welcomed by very nice hots everywhere, except for Sunny Room in Juifen. Wherever we had breakfast included we were offered breakfast for 5 when staying in a quadruple room at no extra charge. Definitely not the best hosts here in Juifen!

Taiwanthe bathroom and the bed area are seperated by glass with curtains which we knew beforehand from the photos, but we were surprised that there are no door in between the two spaces, its an open walkway, so any sound made while using the toilet can be really noticeable, and unavoidable... Not everyone is comfortable to be heard while using the toilet amd very awkward.
Location, is quiet and has nice view.

Singaporethe rooms look nothing like its photos. It was quite cold, there was cockroach running around in the bathroom - we took photos of that and saved as evidence - see photos below. the bedsheets did not look clean, the room was right beside the owner's warehouse. Hygiene was a big concern, and the location is not very near to the Jiufen old street - you have to climb plenty of stairs to get near to the main attraction. Our overall stay was a terrible experience. we were very disappointed and we deeply felt that the room does not worth the money we paid.
the view at the breakfast place is fabulous, and there is free parking offered - very convenient to those travelers who drive. there are cats and dog running around - perfect for pet lovers.
