How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The breakfast looked a bit uninspiring, so we chose to get Taiwanese breakfast outside of the hotel each day. But not sure because I didn't try it myself.
We had a suite and it was perfect--allowed my daughter to comfortably stay with us, plus plenty of room for lounging and recharging.

True to the reviews, we stayed here 3 nights and were very happy with our choice. Baby friendly , good location with 24/7 mart right opposite and a night market right behind. Good service with very helpful staff . Good choices for breakfast even for vegetarians. Clean and spacious rooms with everything from washing machine to baby's sterilizer. Strongly recommended for families with kids especially!

Very difficult to adjust the water shower temperature. The bathtub is bit high and the bathtub is slippery. Got to be very careful in and out of the bathtub.
Very cozy interior. It’s similar to one bedroom studio.

The bathroom is lot smaller than other hotels i’ve stayed at.
The cafe! It opens 24hours - free coffee, drinks, snacks. Has a balcony - smoking area. Supermarket opposite the Hotel, Family Mart Nite market nearby- small restaurants. Just 3 mins away from the subway. Room equipped with necessities ie washing machine, kitchenette The staff were very friendly and definitely helpful 😊

Staff needs more training . Respect customers and keep the noise down while customers are having breakfast, especially towards the end of the breakfast session. Please pay attention to the gutter smell of the bathroom

Sometimes it can be a bit loud due to the main city center location, however, I don’t think it’s too bad.

The staff make a lot of noise when cleaning up towards the end of the breakfast time . Better keep the kitchen door close , so as not to disturb the customers so much. And please bear in mind that some customers are still eating in the dining room. Food quality is so so. The toilet has some smell, smell of the gutter.
The room is spacious. but the single bed is too hard. Location is good.

location could be a bit closer to the main shopping areas but it was still convenient and close enough being only a short ride away

The breakfast selection can be hit or miss depending on when you go.
The rooms are large and comfortable with everything you could need. The staff and friendly and helpful. There are lots of restaurants nearby to try.

Everything about this hotel is great. Staff never fail to greet and meeting your expectations from the moment you book the hotel till checkout. Mins to metro / subway / train / mrt stations. Surrounded by a convenience store and 2 supermarkets (PX Mart and Carrefour) and food stores. 7mins walk to a night market (ask the staff). For those who have infants, there is a nearby shop (15mins walk) that sells baby products, i.e. diapers, baby milk formula, etc. Asian breakfast selection is good and staff offered to squeeze fresh carrot or orange juice for you.

Very good location, close to night market and MRT station also has a super market in front of Jolley hotel. Staffs are very friendly . We would like to stay at Jolley hotel if we come back to Taipei

We stayed for 7 nights and the two level room was perfect for a long stay. Plenty space, a full size fridge and a washing machine/dryer on the balcony. Great location very close to the MRT station. A lot of grocery stores nearby if you plan to have your own breakfast or other meals in the room. A small night market just 5 minutes walk.

Breakfast ended too early at 9:30 am.
The staff on the whole are really good and helpful, but the highest commendation must go to the housekeeping staff. When cleaning our rooms, they found my daughter's very tiny ear studs and usb cable, and the items were returned to us, neatly packed in a plastic bag. The rooms were spacious and clean; the beds were comfortable; and the breakfast was delicious with freshly squeezed juices and hot dishes (eg dumplings, noodles, rice porridge).
