Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

TaiwanThe location isn't terrible but it's not the best. It's tucked awkwardly into an alley and there's one Family Mart close by. Also upon entering, the hotel's hallways are a little tight and maze-like and it's a little difficult to find the room. Also the halls and stairs are so tight getting big luggage around is a little hard. Also in my room the shower had a curtain but it hung about a foot off the floor so after a shower the entire bathroom floor was wet for hours. Also there's basically no countertop space in the bathroom for toiletries.
Slow Tainan feels much more intimate and warm than a standard hotel. The room was incredible -- a dining area with a Japanese-style table and two big beds in a lofted upper floor area. The room's japanese-themed decor was so lovely. There are many different lights in the room to get the perfect lighting and plenty of space to fit several people and luggage. Two windows that can be opened for more air and to see the alley below. This was one of four hotels I stayed in during this trip and it was far and away the best.
