The bathroom was VERY unclean. Mold all over the walls and floor. Very uncomfortable to use. No place to hang clothes, C'mon install some hooks!

The location is walking distance from Taipei station. Decent dining options around.

The main entrance of the building is closed after 8pm so you have to find your way to the back entrance

Location was great - it’s near Taipei station which makes it easy to get around, especially to places like Taoyuan airport. Room was fairly basic and abit dated but clean. Common areas are more modern and gives good vibes. We appreciated that you can store luggage before or after your stay for no extra cost.

I was treated in a very unusual way near the end of my stay here. Someone was harassing me by taking my food from the refrigerator and setting it out in the warmth, or even in the compost bin, to ruin it. The staff was unhelpful and claimed that the cameras they use in the kitchen "couldn't see who it was". I have no idea why, but it happened in this context: I originally booked Apr 10-17. On Apr 15 nights, I asked a staff member (Alex) if I could extend my stay by 7 nights, but I was waiting to pick up cash from WU on Apr 19. They were understanding and accepted my extension; I paid for Apr 17-19 and they said that they put a hold on the room for Apr 19-24. The morning of Apr 19, I woke up to find that my food had been damaged, and I asked another staff member (Ignacio) about it, then went to pick up cash. When I came back, Ignacio insisted that there was no hold for a room and I would have to leave the next day, and that he couldn't see who it was in the kitchen. So I suspect that a staff member was harassing me, but I have no idea why. I barely interacted with anyone, let alone did anything that could have been offensive. p.s. there's a lot of mold in the bathrooms in room A, but the bathrooms in the hallway are pretty clean, if it wasn't for my extremely weird interaction with the staff and the kitchen I'd stay here again p.p.s. there's a window with no mosquito screen in room A, if someone leaves that open there will be a *lot* of mosquitos, but that only happened 1 night in my stay

The room itself was fine, but not the best compared to some of the best hostels in the city I guess. This is fine for 1 night and get out, I would say. It didn’t feel the cleanest, and not a fan of the bathrooms which are small and the usual combined open shower/toilet situation and hardly anywhere to put your things. It was pretty dirty in the limited amount of bathrooms there were. I would never stay here again unless I had no choice.

Some toilets are very dirty aswell the shower. the hygiene can be better in bathrooms. but other than that a really nice hostel to stay

The sun film on the common area window has bubbles and wrinkles which distort the view a little.

Great facility, seems very much like a local hostel. Not the most modern, but comfortable, well maintained, and clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good view from the common area/kitchen. Great location.

Staff here is very nice, they help me a lot. Besides, the room is very clean and large, smell in the room is also good. The opening area quite large with full necessary equipments.

Although you receive PDF instructions how to get there, entrance is not very easy to find, you have to go through the mall and take elevator inside. Luckily some people walking the street showed me back door.

Beds were comfy, for 8 beds you have 2 bathrooms inside the room with shower. There was a place to wash & hang your clothes, inside the room was a hairdryer, plastic bags, lockers. From the reception you can take a towels & eat plugs for free. Common area was very quiet during the weekdays and weekend.

There are two shower room only. If you get the hotel late, it will take loooong time to wait.

It’s pretty at the public area. And the location of hotel is convenient.

The staff was unprofessional, and I felt unwelcome there. The Taiwanese ones were cool. But the foreigner guy from England gave me goosebumps. He talked with me with extreme disregard, so I thought he was a traveler too (only noticing he worked there after asking). Later on, he finds me on the road, gives me a scary glance, and walks fast away. Right after near the shopping(im searching for dinner), he's there too, and he stares at me weirdly and leaves walking quickly again. Even back in the hotel, he would make me feel unwelcome by some weird stares. other factor that was unprecedented is their eagerness to get my money. Of all the places I have been before, they have never charged me right at 9AM, before the check-in time. All other places would at least wait for the customer to arrive to charge him or at least check-in time so that I wouldn't suddenly see a 800 charge in my bank account by morning and have to find out where that expense came from.

The picture of the room is not pretty as expected. A bit old but not much issue. The bed is comfortable. The toilet is within the room.

First the staff is very nice. Although I arrived later than 8pm, the staff is willing to wait for me after i informed them my ETA. They accepted my cash payment as well when my card isn't working.
