Because of size restraints it felt cramped at times. While facilities are kept clean, there are a lot of things in storage that spilled over into other places (E.g. there was a rice cooker in my assigned locker - which was more funny than anything to be honest, I wasn't fussed and I'm sure they would've moved it had I needed the space). There's only one shared bathroom (two toilet stalls, one shower) which at peak times was interesting but everybody was respectful and patient so it was bearable. It seems that at my time of stay, there were renovations in the building so I assume there are usually more facilities available. Sometimes people rang the doorbell many times quite late (11pm) and the sound can be heard throughout the whole hostel.

I liked that the facilities were relatively clean and well-organized. There are provisions for just about all your basic needs in a hostel and it is clearly marked out how to get the things you need. The beds are relatively comfortable as well. Staff was accommodating.

I got a bed in dorm which is right in front of the reception and the only bathroom and shower is right next to their desk! He said another was under construction! By the way, there is ATM right across from the entrance door, on the other side of the street, there is no need to go to the 7/11 and pay extra charge. They don't accept cards, I had to pay cash, and they recommended 7/11 !

The bed was spacious and clean! The place is called StarBox hostel which would have been easier to find for foreigners. The staff are not that good at English but friendly. The entrance of the building has security guard for the elevator, they will open the entrance door every time. I say the place is clean and good enough for a short stay. The location is not that far from a subway station.

I like how it was near to the Taipei Main Station. Near to the nearest NingXia Night Market. It's convenient to any places you'll go in Taiwan.

When we arrived at the building, the doorman didn't want to let us in. He wanted us to call the hostel, but we don't have an international calling plan, and it was a bit confusing to get just into the building. The hostel is part of a larger business building, and once we were in it was fine, but confusing getting there. The bathroom had only 1 toilet and 2 showers. All a bit snug, and not a great setup for storing stuff while you showered. The bed had some hairs left in it before our arrival.

The place was in a nice building (but was a bit confusing to get in to). The bed was comfortable. The place was quiet for sleeping. The staff inside was helpful. They let us check in early. Small towels were provided.

- There is no clear information that the place is under renovation. So, instead of living in a well-organized space you live in small rooms full of people everyday. - Only one toilet available. - Shower rooms are tiny and within the toilet area. It gets crowded fast. - One of the worst internet I have ever encountered. Even in the worst places in mainland China I had better.

- The location is great, not far from the MRT to the airport and other stations. Also, other spots are close, especially Ningxia market. - Hospitable crew. - The guards downstairs are cool.

We had a bed at the end of the hostel, so we had no wifi when we stayed at our bunk. There was only one toilet in a small room, with two showers for all the people in the hostel. It was super moist in there, when people were showering and your feet get wet every time you needed to go to the toilet. The fridge was a little stinky and there were some ants (or smth else) inside. We had troubles to find the entrance to the hostel in the building, because it wasnt signed properly.

It was pretty much space in front of our bed compared to other hostels. Hot/cold water was free, also there was a fridge to use. We felt safe, because there was a porter at the entrance 24/7.

The shared bathroom has a foul smell and each shower cubicle is very small. The toilet is only one without access to water when you are about to poop. Try to improve the toilet. The hostel is 15mins walk from Taipei Main Station No lounge or lobby

I had an amazing stay! From the moment I arrived, the experience was fantastic, and a lot of that was thanks to the incredible staff at reception. The guy who greeted me was warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout my stay. He went above and beyond to ensure I felt comfortable and making sure I had everything I needed. The hostel itself was clean, cozy, and had a great atmosphere for meeting other travelers. But what really stood out was the kindness and attention to detail from the staff, especially the gentleman at the front desk. It's rare to find such genuine hospitality. I highly recommend staying here and will definitely return next time I’m in town. 5 stars all the way!"
