Staff is not much helpful, we want to stay for 2 night but staff insist us to check out before check in again.

Affordable hotel with a large room and great location. Room is quite clean, valuable and very comfort.

The room was very basic. Could be better with a small bedside table or a TV cabinet. Toilet needed a good scrub.

It was close to the train and bus station; about 5 to 10 minutes walk across. There are also in-house coin-operated laundry washer and dryer which was why we chose the hotel.

There is strange smell from the floor drainage in the bathroom.

The location is great and very convenient. It is just few steps away from Taichung Train Station. The room is big, clean and the bed is comfortable. Value for money.

I didn't like that there were no room service so we don't know where to ask for additional water and coffee or milk tea.

The room is spacious and clean, although it does not havea bath tub and bidet. Also, the staff are very accommodating and polite. Additionally, the location is awesome, just a few walks away from the TRA

Noise from the trains and relatively busy road below (but to be expected given its convenient location), poor sound insulation, noisy old aircon that definitely needs to be cleaned, bathroom is old and sometimes had a bad smell. I think they cleaned the room before my stay but because it's so old and dated it has a slighty musty smell and things just look old/worn When I thought I had dropped my coin, I looked under the bed for it and instead found an empty bottle of liquor and an old used slipper...

Good location, room has everything you need including fridge & complimentary bottles of water, large window, they can keep your luggage for you after checkout up until 9pm

Staff cannot speak English. It is hard to communicate. There is no room cleaning due to the pandemic (staff said). I stayed in a hotel in Taipei on the same trip, but room cleaning was done regularly (no excuse about the pandemic). Noise from the road got into the room.

There are only 2 sockets in the room so better to bring extension cord.

Hotel is very close to Taichung Station and shopping malls. We were also able to leave our luggage before check-in time so we went around Taichung without our huge luggages.

The noise isolation towards the hall way was not very good. Also the area around the hotel was not the nicest, however that's normal for main stations.

Noise - you can hear the road the there is not that much isolation between rooms. So if you need a quite environment, I would not recommend this one.

The room felt quite stuffy, even with the air conditioning on. The WiFi was extremely slow and did not work for most of our stay. The dryer malfunctioned during my stay.

There is a 24-hour reception and the receptionists were all very friendly and nice. The beds were extremely comfortable. Great location, close to the TRA Train station, food and shopping mall.

the hotel is perfect and awesome！ if you ever planning to travel to taichung, you may consider to stay at this hotel. 7 eleven is just 1 min walk away from the hotel itself as well as the taichung main station is 5 mins walk away. the hotel location is perfect as we are able to visit the famous ice cream shop by just walking to there. there’s a bus stop right in front of the hotel, where will bring you to a lot of places. the front desk lady was extremely helpful too, she was too kind and being nice to us and also assisting us when we need some help.
