How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Very nice and friendly stuff. Always here for some help. They gave us a free towels and adapters to charge our phones. Very clean facilities.

The location was super great, only 7 min walk from Taipei Main station, and it was such a nice hostel w/ clean bathrooms, GREAT hot showers and water pressure, super clean/quiet, good privacy, and nice that you had locked cabinets for your stuff and shoes. The staff was super nice and helpful, and it really did exceed my expectations. Very nice place, highly recommend.

It was just a place to sleep, it did not have much character. Very little space for your things but did offer a locker in the room. No towels provided.
the double beds were nice and the curtains made the capsules dark. The place was pretty quiet at night so got good sleep.

Could be slightly noisy as bedrooms do not have doors
Very clean and tidy. Good number of bathrooms and showers. Owner is on site and is very helpful and caring. Had food poisoning when visiting and owner and the lady looked after me really well which I’m grateful for.

could've been a bit more in terms of kitchen facilities,somewhere to actually cook. Also very small spaces around the beds which makes it hard if you are travelling with a suitcase or big bag that won't fit in the lockers. Also cash only which isn't great in this day and age.
bed very comfy and i liked the curtain across it and how certain areas had curtains to seal off that area of two beds. i liked how the bathroom facilities in the female dorm were in the 'room'. good amount of toilets/showers. liked the big fridge and nice open area to sit and eat and also can charge devices. lift was also appreciated. location pretty good-Taipei is a big spread out city but could walk most places.

The location is like 15 mins walk to Taipei Main Station, and 15 minutes walk to Ximending. There is a bus stop opposite the hotel so it's convenient. Place is clean and comfortable although the space between the beds are quite small. There is bidet available but the water pressure is very high. I don't think there is laundry services or ironing equipment available. Overall good experience.

This hostel was really nice, cozy, clean and even quiet. it was located in the center of Taipei as well as near Taipei station so it was quite accessible as well. The owner and most staff were very polite and always tried to give a help to all guests. I highly recommend this hostel to travelers who have a plan to visit beautiful Taipei. ^^

I like how the owner waited for us to arrive at 5 AM in the morning so that we will be able to check-in manually. More so, I like how he showed us one by one the facilities and the rules in the Hostel. It is also just minutes away from Ximending, convenience stores, banks and other. Such a great location for its price. He was also kind enough to give us discounts :)

My only qualm is that the space in between the bunk beds is super narrow, so if people leave their luggage there it's really hard to move around. It's not the most social hostel but that could be depending on who is there.
The duvet was really good, everything was clean, curtain kept light out, locker big enough to store huge backpacking backpack. Good location, spacious kitchen, easy to find from the outside. 10 mins walking from MRT that comes from the aiport (main taipei station). Shower had great water pressure and was hot.

This hostel exceeded all my expectations! The place is spotless, cozy, and has a great vibe, perfect for connecting with fellow travelers. The location is excellent—close to key attractions yet quiet enough for a restful stay. The rooms are comfortable, and the facilities are good. I and my friend had a great time here. The location is near to transportations like bus and the mrt. The owner is always here to help you so friendly and nice. The important things is cheap but also clean. It’s a nice place!

Well located, the owner waited for us even though our flight landed very late, the place was clean and there was a big part only for women. We lost our credit card and the owner kindly called the bank for us and we could get it back.

The showers were quite dirty, the floors seemed a just little bit moldy. The sleeping pods themselves were clean though.
I liked the kindness of the staff, the location of the accomodation and the cleanliness of the rooms.
