How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Conveniently close to vegan-friendly spots that open as early as 7-9am, allowing me to grab food to start my day early. They include: - 上頂皇家素食水煎包. Huaining Street towards Taipei Main Station. Dumplings and pot stickers! - Pan's Popiah 禾溢承精緻潤餅. Beside Roaders PLUS Hotel, near Exit Z8. Curry popiah! - Furger. Entrance Y12u, Airport MRT, Level B1. Vegan burgers! - Three To (Sun Like) 三來素食館. No. 23, Section 1, Wuchang St. Great buffet spread! - Miao Guanyin 妙觀音素食-北車許昌店. No.6 Xuchang St. Tasty noodle soups! Google the opening hours and days closed to plan ahead. Taipei Main Station, Airport MRT, High Speed Rail, and Ximending are all within a ~10-minute walk. The whole hostel is on the 9th floor with friendly staff, water dispenser, kitchenette, good aircon. Showers have shampoo, body wash, hooks and baskets. Toilets have bidets. Locker space was adequate for a medium backpack. Hangers available to dry my towel in the staircase area. Luggage storage was allowed after checkout for a red-eye flight. Stayed in Mixed Dorm Room, August 2024.

People should adhere to guidelines regarding noise levels during late-night hours to avoid disturbing others' sleep
The most amazing thing about this place is the location, allowing easy access to many spots within walking distance. Additionally, the cleanliness of the washrooms was commendable, and the person at the counter was helpful and friendly.

The guy at the reception, I don't know if he's the owner or works there, he's very kind, something negative could be the air conditioning is very strong, it's very cold, and the young girl who cleans, cleans badly, someone who knows how to clean the place is needed.

Would love more storage for bags etc. or hanging things in the pods!
Clean, organised and the man who runs it is the loveliest! Let me check out early after my travel plans changed and did not charge me for nights I didn’t stay. Really appreciated :)

Great location, nice open common area and plenty of bathroom space. Curtains on each bed for privacy and darkness.

Bathroom was a little small, and there were some broken or damaged things (for example all the toilet seats weren't attached properly).

Everything was very good. No issues were encountered. Maybe the A/C was too strong, but that's all.
The place was very clean. The location extremely convenient. The staff very accommodating. When I return to Taipei, I will stay here. There is a refrigerator for your own food. Other guests very very respectful.

Hostel is well situated regarding the city. Everything was clean and comfortable. Our flight arrived during the night but it wasn’t a problem for the check-in. Stuff was really helpful. We could borrow umbrella which was really useful! We could also left our backpacks there after checkout. Can recommend!

Owner was helpful and even gave us a discount for staying more than a night when we pay during check in. Easily accessible to bus station and MRT Taipei Main Station. Will definitely recommend

The hostel is walkable from MRT Airport Line so the transfer was not a hassle. Major stations and Ximending is a walking distance. The staff is also nice and welcoming. Facilities were nice and clean. The beds in the dormitory are also clean and comfortable. Lockers are big enough to fit your carry-on. Overall, great place to stay as a solo traveller. Will probably stay here again when I visit Taipei again.

It’s a bit difficult sometimes to access the upper beds so if you struggle with balance maybe ask for a floor bed ;)
We had an amazing stay at Sundaily hostel, the location is great, the beds are comfortable and common areas are very clean. The hosts made sure we had a great stay and that everything was ok for us.

The location was perfect! It was right next to taipei main station and the Taiwan national museum! Also super close to ximen for a nice night market experience.

Nothing much, just keep in mind that some people can be a bit noisy in the dormitory.
This hostel is really well located, at 5 min from the main station, so you can access every sightseeing spots easily. And since it's on the 9th floor it's still really calm. We booked the double bed for us two and it was really comfy and wide enough. Good deal, we recommend! There is an equiped kitchen ( microwave,sink, fridge and dishes) and a water fontain( hot and cold water), really useful.

The bathroom was a bit smelly and not refreshed.
I liked that I called them because of late check in and there was no problem. The receptionist was really nice :) There were big lockers for everyone, which is very good!
