The beds and shower were exceptionally comfortable. I think quite possibly the best beds I have ever slept in. Shower was very powerful and with a great temperature range.

The first impression upon entering the lobby was not exactly the best one as the decor was dark coloured and lights very dim. It felt a bit gloomy. But it turned out to be a very nice stay. It is located near the mrt station where the green and brown lines intersect. It's easy access to many of the touristy sights.Lots of eateries and convenience stores near it. The staff was helpful. Bed very comfortable. There is also a microwave oven in the room. Only 2 issues: lighting in the room is very dim and the remote control to the motorised curtains only worked intermittently. But still I liked the hotel and will likely stay there again when I go to Taipei

Very limited draw space to store clothes which are not suitable to hang up.

Good location near to MRT and easy to get to main station and airport. Convenient for my meetings and plenty of places to eat nearby. Big bathtub was a bonus, especially after a long flight. Lots of hot water.

A bit of a small room

Nice location, Amazing Facilities even things unexpected. washer-dryer on-suite balcony. Bathtub with wall-mounted TV. Contactless charger on bedside. Really taking the Japanese mind set of thinking about everything and acting upon it with everything you need. Would visit again just to stay at this hotel. Complementary drinks and snacks and microwave.

Location was good as it's just a few minutes walking distance from Nanjing Fuxing station. Breakfast spread was decent. Staff were friendly and helpful.

No instructions for washing machine. Bathroom needs a bit maintenance as the shower door wasn’t sealed properly. The toilet cover is very sensitive, it opened automatically when you walk pass.

The location is very central and easy to get around in Taipei via Metro network. The staff were very friendly professional and helpful.

- Entire room is over 300 sq ft but configuration is not great with approximately 15% devoted to the balcony and 35% to the bathroom. Bedroom ends up being quite tight and can't accommodate a large suitcase. The space in front and at side of the bed is really tight given prevalence of a couch and the writing desk. - Wardrobe space is tight, principally due to the room configuration. Add to that a big bag, and it was a bit tight. - No clothes drying racks provided if you do not want to use the dryer function of the washer dryer. - The hotel has an unusual policy to putting through a pre-authoristion for the entire duration of my one week stay ONE WEEK BEFORE my stay. Given I had used a different credit card, my booking card was locked out for the entire weeks stay. I ended up having two cards locked out for two weeks of a stay. I was told the booking card would be locked out for two weeks after my stay! Most other hotels only take one nights pre-authorisation so would be best to ensure the card you book with and pay with are the same. The hotel should cut this requirement down in line with other hotels. It's not right to pre-authorise an entire stay one week before the stay. - Breakfast is really basic with few options for western palates but very reasonable priced at NT300.

- Friendly and helpful staff. Quick to respond to requests. - Rooms are modern and clean. - The room I booked had a washer dryer located on an attached balcony. - Remote controlled drapes. - Great entertainment system. Large TV with surround sound system in bedroom. - Free mini bar with a selection of drinks and snacks, automatic coffee machine with Illy coffee capsules, and four bottles of water. Great quality green tea provided. - Good-sized bathroom with a functioning fully automatic Japanese toilet and useful array of toiletries. - Five minutes walk from the Nanjing Fuxing MRT station, which can pretty much can take you anywhere in Taipei using transfers to other stations. - Abundance of convenience stores, restaurants and shops around the hotel. As I had extended stays in Taiwan and Korea, I had a large bag and I found the room size to be confining at the start. However, I got used to the room size over the week and found it to be a good place to stay overall. I fully recommend it to travellers who aren't adverse to smaller sized rooms and moderate sized luggage as there many positives to consider a stay here. And yes, I would consider coming back in future.

I prefer the window view on the main road rather than back lane facing facing old building just meters away

There is no view from the windows as facing back of next building. They know have a wide range menu breakfast buffet but the Chinese menu change daily and taste good
