Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

South KoreaThe shower is quite big, but it will be more convenient if there is a corner shelf or hook to hang your stuff in the shower booth. I had to place everything on the floor ;)

PhilippinesThere were mosquitoes!!! I could see them fly while watching TV and I had bites and itches on my legs. The remote aircon control was all in Chinese and I had to go down to the lobby to ask how it worked. They should have English instructions. The room took time to cool and I think mosquitoes thrive when its warm.
The hotel looked new and modern especially the rooms. My room was spacious even with a double bed, large TV (with many English channels) and a desk. All the amenities were there: toilet stuff, safe, coffee making, good lighting, linen, pillows, etc. All of which looked new. The water dispenser was just outside my door. The location is perfect- near the airport MRT and other MRT lines and walkable nearby attractions like CKS monument and Ximending area. The staff were friendly and helpful.

My family and I stayed in the enjoy quad. Each of one had a single bed and everyone was happy! This was our third time in this hotel. Plus, the laundry was free and the hotel provides free detergent.

AustraliaThe bed was slightly hard for my preference. A hand towel hanger in the sink area would be nice.
Extremely clean, close to the main station and therefore all modes of transport, water dispensers close to the room, free and good laundry facilities. Soundproofing was great. There were hooks in the bathroom and near the desk to hang clothes and towels. Very good value for the size and location in Taipei. The staff honoured a promise they had made to me at time of booking.

United StatesIf you reserve a classic twin room, be aware that all such rooms face Kaifeng Street and there is quite a bit of road noise coming into the room.

AustraliaThe window for the room type is located in the toilet and pretty much have to have it closed the whole time as it's also facing to another building. Room is quite small considering it's a twin size room, if you have a big luggage solo travelling is just enough but if the two of you have got a big luggage each there won't be enough space for you to open them up. They also have a smart TV in the room but somehow the TV remote for smart TV is not available so only can watch the TV channels. Only two pillows instead of four as well.
Location is good, close to the Taipei station and has got many food and convenient store around. They also have water dispenser at the floor level which is handful. Soundproof is pretty good, no issue throughout the stay.

AustraliaGiven its a new establishment, the house keeping staffers might still need further training because they changed all the towels everyday regardless of my preference. I tried to stay green and dismayed by the unnecessary change without my request by placing the card in the bathroom, as we are instructed to do. Drinking hot water needed to be fetched from a dispenser outside the room in the corridor but the jug wouldn't keep the hot water warm for much more than an hour, ie., you'll have to get hot water from outside again in the morning.
Everything I had expected and more except.... the toilet roll hanger certainly needs some rethinking because it's placed in an odd position to reach from where one sits AND the roll flies off the hanger easily, often dropped on the floor, or worse into the rubbish bin. It happened to me over half a dozen times over my 6 night stay!

FinlandPrice-value-ratio is not excactly the best. With little enhancements and fixing little details the hotel could raise their rate easily. For example: installing more wall hooks or hangers for coats and towels etc, a mirror in a room (now only in bathroom), laundry service, better hairdryer. The TV didnt work properly. The air conditioner is not manual so you can't adjust temperature, the room was freezing. If the hotel cost less I wouldn't even pay attention these things.
Very clean. Great location near train station and mrt exit. Best thing was the water dispenser for both hot and cold clean water. You can refill your waterbottle and make a cup of coffee or tea. Kind and efficient staff.

AustraliaThe beds were rock hard. I am a 5 foot 7 woman travelling with her 25 year old daughter. I asked for 2 single beds, but they were tiny beds. Plus the beds were so close together we actually touched each other when asleep. I asked for another pillow (one small pillow was given), but the lady at front desk said 'no' only one pillow per guest. Ridiculous! No kettle in the room to boil water, have to go to the general machine at the end of the hall each time. No ideal when your room is outside the machine, and all you hear are people going out of their rooms, banging doors and filling up water. No coffee given, just powedered milky tea mix and a strange latte, so bought my own. Don't think i'm asking for too much to have a coffee bag and a tea bag. No cups either, mugs, and I asked for cups (water etc) and she said no. I asked for straight coffee, but again, 'no'. The amount I paid was not the amount Booking.com had, even with the exchange rate it was over $50 more. If i'd had a decent nights sleep I reckon I wouldn't have been so cranky with the other stuff. Trip of a life time, all I wanted was sleep. Went to Seoul after Taiwan, 2 normal sized beds and coffee/tea/ kettle, plus 2 pillows per bed. It can be done!
Location was ok, but that was it.

MalaysiaSuggestions for improvement: 1. Lack of storage – While the room was reasonably spacious, there were no wardrobes, hooks, or anywhere to hang clothes. As we traveled during winter, our coats, towels, and other items had to be spread out on the bed or bedside, making the room feel cluttered. 2. Bedside table design – At the foot of the bed, there was a foldable tabletop with a power outlet inside. While convenient for charging devices, it often got in the way. We occasionally bumped our feet on it while sleeping or accidentally kicked it open, which disrupted our rest. 3. No windows – The room had no windows, which made the air feel a bit stale. Combined with carpet flooring, it wasn’t ideal for anyone with respiratory sensitivities. 4. No full-length mirror or vanity – There was no full-length mirror or even a dressing table in the room, which was very inconvenient. 5. Shower area storage – The shower lacked any shelves or racks, so toiletries had to be placed on the floor, which was awkward and inconvenient. 6. Limited sink counter space – While the sink itself was large, there was very little counter space around it. With three people sharing the room, there wasn’t enough space for all our toiletries, and things kept falling off, making it chaotic—especially for women.
We were a group of three traveling together and stayed in a room for four people for four nights. What we loved about the hotel: 1. Location – The location is excellent! It’s less than a 10-minute walk to Taipei Main Station, making it super convenient to get around. There are also plenty of great food options and convenience stores nearby. 2. Staff – The staff were incredibly friendly and always greeted us with warm smiles. 3. Bathroom – The bathroom has a great design with separate wet and dry areas, keeping the entire space dry and comfortable to use. 4. Toilet – The smart toilet with heated seating and adjustable water temperature was a wonderful feature, especially during winter.
