The staff which are station in the swimming pool and laundry side are unfriendly and no manners. We went up to the top level to see the pool and when we step out from the lift, the staff look at us like we are came for steal something. 4 stars hotel but this kind of services, very bad.

The breakfast was delicious and the variety of the dishes from soup to salad was amazing. The dining area was surrounded by the Banyan trees and green plants. It was very relaxing. The staff at the front entrance were very pleasant, helpful and they went beyond the call of duty with my inquiries. I really appreciate it.

Not the best hotel if you want to include exercise while staying. The gym was not very good. There were no weights or dumbbells, and no mats. The pool was not open until 2pm on weekdays.

Very clean hotel with very accomodating staff. Close the the main station so could walk from there on arrival. Breakfast was good, as was lunch that we purchased from the on-site bar.

There's a free washer and dryer but it was very busy all the time, so I ended up having to go up 4-5 times to find an opening when it wasn't in use.

Great hotel right in the center of town. High quality amenities and excellent service. I accidentally booked my reservation one day early and the hotel was able to resolve the issue for me after my arrival on the following day. Room is big and very comfortable with huge windows and the whole hotel seems new and modern.

Super friendly staff, everything grand and clean, big room, great view, nice rooftop pool. The breakfast was delicious and had a lot of variety. The hotel is in close proximity to the train station, so it's just a short walk from arriving in Tainan to relaxing in the hotel. No suggestions for improvement. Recommended!

Check in time is 4pm, that is somewhat late in the day. 3pm would be more acceptable. Staff did make an effort to have the room ready for us earlier.

Right inbetween the train station and centre of Tainan, it's conveniently located and offers spacious, comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Rain prevented us from using the rooftop pool but it does look very inviting. Recommended.

Beautiful and perfectly located Hotel! I loved the enormous and delicious breakfast. We stayed in many hotels in Taiwan and this was by far the best breakfast. Everyone was very friendly. You can reach all important spots in Tainan by feet and only 10min walk to the main station.

The best room service and very clean. R floor swimming pool is small but good management and good view to see. Most of important, I feel very nice is their auto-laundry serive is free - awesome, which beyond my expection. It is pity I encountered my neighbor smoking throughout the evening which made me highly uncomfortable. However, hotel staff helped me change the room to other floor in the end. It is recommended hotel should have penalty for smoking guest.

The room is very new, comfortable and clean. Bed and pillow are good to fall into sleep. Sofa is also solid and comfortable. Air conditioner is working well and can be adjusted the temperature. Hotel staffs are very nice and willing to help. Breakfast with many vegetables is great for travelers. Just 7 mins walk to train station. It is a perfect place to stay in Tainan. I will come back for sure.

This was an excellent choice as a base for a few days sightseeing in Tainan old town. Very comfortable room, great breakfast buffet and lovely staff. The only inconvenience was that the hotel catering outlets were closed or not serving food on a weekday evening, so we had to go out in the pouring rain to find somewhere to eat. But this will not deter us from booking the Grand Banyan again when we go back to Tainan in a few weeks time.

one issue is the bathroom has no windows and I don’t think there is ventilation fan. it’s moist.

the staff are awesome, they are kind and helpful even we have some difficult requests. Really appreciate their great service. They amaze me. the breakfast is good and delicious, just everyday is almost the same. so for people who stay couple nights, it’s kind of disappointing. room is spacious, comfortable.

Check-in took slightly longer than ideal - I observe that this owes to the check-in counter being slightly understaffed at peak check-in hours.

The hotel room was extremely comfortable, with its exceptionally high ceiling and modern interior design, which was one of the factors that drew me to this hotel. The location is also worth praising, being 5 minutes away from TRA Tainan station by foot.

You have to give a time slot for the breakfast, it can be crowded. But it was no problem to change in the morning to a more early timeslot.

Breakfast has a large selection of food. The staff is very helpfull. Great location en comfortable rooms.
