Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SpainIt could have been a bit cleaner. I rented a bigger room with a kitchen, but there is no utensils, even glasses, or anything to eat or cook with, so it's not useful at all!
It was a very central location. There are lifts. The room I rented with a private bathroom was convenient.

TaiwanHowever, the walking directions from the MRT to the hotel were a bit confusing, especially on a rainy winter night. I struggled to find the Capital Bank building because Google Maps’ GPS was unreliable at the time. In my opinion, using Exit 8 is the best way to reach the hotel. Even if you have to walk through Miki Plaza, navigating underground toward Exit 8 is much easier than exiting at Exit 7 and trying to figure out the hotel’s location at that large intersection. I booked a dorm bed and was assigned an upper bunk. The bed itself was comfortable and provided good privacy, but the ladder design is unsafe for people under 160 cm or those with shorter legs. When I climbed down, I injured my foot. Next time, I would insist on getting a lower bed, as the upper bunk’s stairway is not well-suited for people in my height.
The main reason I chose this hotel was its convenient location, right next to MRT Zhongxiao Fuxing, Exit 8.

JapanThe self checkin system needs to be improved. The key box was not easy to find.
The walls were thick and we didn’t hear our neighbours much. Our twin room had two small bed rooms and a living room with a kitchen (without any equipment even a cup). So it was convenient for friends trips.

JapanWe did self check-in because we arrived after 9 pm and it was difficult to find the machine to get keys. Also the system had an error and we struggled to get the QR to receive the keys. The door of the bathroom opened to inside and made it difficult to enter. I wished to have an extra blanket, a knife, and a kettle or a pot
The twin rooms had two little bed rooms and a common space. The common space was narrow but spacious and had a table and chairs. The shower was warm and strong enough.

PhilippinesThe room was a bit dusty when I arrived. There was also an oil smudge on the table when I arrived. Soundproofing is acceptable. There's a slight sound you can hear from the bus and motorcycles reving their engines when the traffic signal turns green (Hotel is located at the intersection). I hope they can also give ear plugs to guests. I hope they can also create guest activities in the common area.
I like how it is accessible to the MRT, Bus, and convenience stores. They also have a self-laundry service which is good for travelers who wish to do their laundry. Free coffee, tea, and biscuits. They also have a water dispenser and a refrigerator.

ItalyThe entrance of the hotel is not easy to find. If you want to use the laundry, you'll have to buy the detergent outside; in my case, I had to buy a big bottle of it, and I let it there (feel free to use it, if it's still there).
My room (725) was clean and comfortable enough. The WiFi was not too bad. The hotel has a kitchen to warm up one's food, and water, milk coffee and tea. They also have a laundry machine (30 ntd) and a dryer (10 ntd for 15 minutes). There are many cafes, minimarkets, and bars nearby. The MRT is just 100 meters away. There is a desk in the lobby so one can work at their laptop there. You can rent an iron.
