It was my fault but i didn't know this location was so out of the way. There is only 1 bus that goes there 3 times a day. If you want to stay here, better be prepared to rent a car to drive there.

Very clean room and the views from here were very superb. Awesome host! Lady boss was very enthusiastic about helping you capture the beautiful view and offering to take photos for you. Both the hosts were very kind and friendly in meeting your needs!

Like : Very beautiful peaceful, serene and cooling place up in the mountains. Nice owner and pets to keep you entertain. A really nice place to getaway and chill Dislike : The only bus 7317 has only 3 timings and it’s only to chiayi and not to alishan and it gets dark by 6. If there are food places nearby or in the homestay would be better! Far from other attractions and not enough time to walk around without own transport

There was a few steep sloops to reach the homestay. Our driver had a hard time maneuvering the van.

No lift for elderly

Foot spa right in front of the amazing view!!! Apart from that, the owner keeps pets where my children love playing with them. The owner is very friendly. The property has some entertainment stuff like karaoke, ball, scooters, etc.

There’s nothing to not like

The seclusion in the mountains literally feels like you’re on a luxury retreat. The stay is in the mountains so make sure you pack your lunch and dinner ahead since they only provide breakfast. They have a kitchen or microwave for you. They also have a water dispenser. The view is phenomenal here and you get to hike if you feel like it all the way to the top of the mountain for free. They also have cats and dogs.

There is no restaurant on the property and the closest restaurant is over 1h walk down the hill, so make sure you are prepared in case you are not driving.

The owners were extremely sweet and helpful. They arranged for a birthday cake for me as a spent my birthday on the property. They also shared a lot of valuable information that helped us enjoy our stay, even though their English was limited.

It’s quite far away from any shops or restaurants, so be sure to pack dinner, especially if you’re not arriving by car.

Far from attractions, e.g., 1.5 hour drive from Alishan. At the end of the day, we felt very tired from travelling.

Friendly owners who were willing to engage guests. Scenic view from the balcony - saw sunrise (from faraway, rising behind the mountains) and sea of clouds. Breakfast included. Karaoke and foot spa services provided. Dog (money) and cat (happy) to entertain my child.

The location of the accommodation is sensational. Wonderful view of the mountain landscape and a really great sunrise - when there are no clouds. The host is very friendly, speaks little English, but we were able to communicate well - with hands and feet ;) He also calls your room in the morning so you don't miss the sunrise. If you don't want that, unplug your phone. The breakfast was good and freshly prepared. The coffee was very tasty. The room was clean except for a few spots. Overall, a bit cold atmosphere in the rooms, but otherwise good. You have an amazing view from the balcony.

Nothing. Maybe a little far from Alishan main area, but it's a great place to spend time with family with archery, badminton, karaoke, nature walks, foot baths and of course taking photos of the ever-changing landscape.

The building is situated off the side of mountain and offers great views of rolling clouds and sunrise. Walking a little past the building and up the hill there’s a pavilion that one can watch the sunset! The hotel owner was very friendly and educated us about the area. So happy we found this place on Booking!

not the easiest to reach with public transport - take Yunbus 7317 from opp Chiayi TRA station to Dalong stop, runs only twice a day. then it is a steep uphill walk to the property. not much to do in the surrounding village, so best suited for those who mainly want to rest and relax. also no nearby food places, so either bring your own food or check with the owners if ordering in is possible

loved the lovely owners who were so friendly and open to sharing their lives with us. Mrs Wu introduced us to her fruit trees and shared about their lives. Mr Wu was so kind as to help pack our meals and bring us out to buy dinner as we had no means of transport otherwise. he was also so kind as to help arrange a taxi for our transport on checking out. property was clean and quiet with good views, fantastic for relaxing in seclusion. enjoyed the nightly foot soaks and karaoke sessions. also enjoyed the village environment, although hard to navigate without personal transport. lovely playing with their friendly dog Manni!
