Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe location is great. Right next to 228 Peace Park, which is a lovely park to walk and sit around in, that also has a little museum in It is also a short walk (20 minutes) to the popular sport Ximending. There's an MRT close by at NTU hospital and again a short walk to Taipei Main Station. The room was a good size, the shower and toilet are just behind glass doors which offers less privacy but were clean and had good pressure. The double bed was two singles pushed together which is a little annoying but not the end of the world. Only when you fall in between the two mattresses do you notice it. They call the room 30 minutes before check out time which was a nice touch that you don't always get. All things considered it beat my expectations. Its not the most luxurious hotel, it is a budget hotel? So you have to bear that in mind. If you can get a good price I recommend it.

BrazilWhen you come in the first time in the hotel, it looks like ir is not very clear but actually is only an impression because in the room, everything is ver clear.
The room is very comfortable, bed is really good, we could rest very well. It is very quiet, we didn’t have any problem with noise. The shower is also very good. The location is perfect, there are one line very very close (NTU - line red) and also you can go by door to Taipei main station and Ximen station - line blue. There are pharmacies, conveniences, restaurants and Ximen night market very close that you can go by foot.

United KingdomClothing hanger was very unstable and on the brink of collapse (held together by tape in one corner). Check-in took slightly longer as another customer had issues with card. Not much to say further on this as the pros easily outweighed the minor cons. Overall great stay.
The room provided was very spacious, it had an enormous king size bed which in my view could fit 3 people comfortably. The shower and toilet came seperately, both fully equiped with shower gels, shampoos, toilet rolls. Was provided with 2 water bottles and snacks when my room was made. Multiple towels were provided. Whilst no windows present, the hot and cold temperatures could be controlled by the AC unit. The bed was comfortable and pillows very soft, making the stay very comfortable. The location was ideal, roughly a 10-15 minute walk from the main taipei station and a short walking distance to the nearby tourist attractions. Nearby to the hotel, restaurants and markets could be found easily. Staff were friendly despite having minimal contact with them. The room overall was kept very clean.

SingaporePlace is showing it's age. Could have a safety box in the room. My room had a big pillar near the TV, that obstructs the movement. Other rooms were OK. Paid more for room with window, but the windows were so dirty. Hardly looked out. No view anyway.
Value for money. Good location to where I am going. Next to a park. Bed was good. Sheets and towels were clean. Sound proofing was surprisingly good. Pretty quiet, but could hear the traffic through the windows.

SingaporeRoom was cold and aircon was difficult to adjust. We needed to give 24 hours notice to hv room made and only knew abt it very late, hence on 2nd day, we weren't able to get our room made. By the 3rd day, we were already checking out. So we didn't get bottled water, tea bags etc. Entry was on level 1, while reception was on level 3. Security i felt was lax, as anyone could take a lift from level 1 to any of the guest room floors.
Bed was clean and large. Bathroom spacious. Breakfast although at a partner restaurant and away from Artinn, served good food. Reception area served snacks and beverages. Location central.

SingaporeGreat location and facilities. Loved the design of the room that the shower, toilet, and basin are all separated which is very convenient and everything was clean. The bed although is double and had no 2 single beds, was very spacious so that was not an issue at all. Location wise was near multiple lines within 10mins walking distance so that's great. Downside is that you could see the room was partially renovated and some parts of the room like cabinet under the sink and table are still quite old although the main things like basin, shower, and toilet are new. Overall, would definitely recommend!

MalaysiaSmall gripe is that there were no charging points near the bed (or maybe i didnt see it). Also the reception staff was rather brusque and not as warm (but they weren’t rude don’t get me wrong) as i normally encounter in Taipei but it isn’t a dealbreaker.
For a hotel at this level in Taipei, the room i had was very spacious. Overall i had no complains in terms of the comfort, facilties, location. Would stay again for sure.
