The owners and staffs were super friendly and helpful. Helping us with arranging for transports, restaurants and local attractions. We love the bicycles they provided for free which we used to travel around the beautiful Hualien city. They also provide free instant noodles, biscuits and fruits together with coffee and teas. Very healthy breakfasts are freshly prepared every morning.

Clean and well maintained, it seemed the everything in the room was updated and working order. Refrigerator was small but had a freezer section. Free coffee and tea, cup noodles for snacking free bicycle rental and night market was walking distance

We had a great stay! Loved this place. Google maps address was misleading and a lot of many infos on booking in Chinese only, but easy fix. Just ask about the guesthouse name when booking and show the taxi driver and you’ll be fine.

Lovely place. We upgraded to the 6th floor for more light and ocean view. Cute and detail oriented decoration. Friendly staff making a lot of effort to communicate despite the language barrier. Great breakfast and coffee. Amazing red been soup for afternoon snack. Free bikes. Next to the night market.

The BnB was super cosy and comfy, with modern and tasteful decoration. The room was comfortable and clean, the bed had a firm mattress, which I prefer. The staff is super helpful: even when they didn't speak English, they found a way to help/communicate. We had a welcome slice of tiramisu when arriving ! The breakfast was super copious and very well presented. The location is ideal, right next to the entrance of Dongdamen night market, next to the sea. They provide bikes for free so it is easy to take a nice ride to Qixingtan beach.

cons: - odour in the room was not neutral, somewhat perfumy, likely coming from the bed sheets - mattress was quite hard

pros: - super friendly staff. we had a 4-person room booked, but were actually only 2 ppl, so they gave us a discount which was very kind. - free bicycle use - location is excellent, walking distance to both the nightmarket and beach - views from the balconies were awesome onto the central mountain range

There is a smell from the drain kept me up all night which is a common problem with Taiwanese buildings. Maybe it is just me as husband wasn’t bothered with it. Other than that, everything was wonderful.

Dirty windows in the room spoiled the view, no wardrobe or drawers for clothing, intermittent odd sewerage smell in the bathroom, very loud fridge right next to the bed. None of the staff spoke English (though they were very friendly and able to help through Google translate).

Good location, friendly staff, free coffee/tea/pot noodles at any time, very firm bed gave good back support, free bikes to use (though only single gear so hard work if going uphill).

The place is cosy and beautifully designed. The bed are firm and comfortable. The breakfasts are great and healthy!

If you have a dog allergy, choose a different place. It is a very pet friendly ( but also very clean) place. We love dogs, so no issue for us.
