Absolutely nothing.

Wisdom Garden was the highlight of our 2 week trip through Taiwan. Location and the house itself is superb. The moment you se foot in this beautiful house you feel at home and welcome. The interior of the house is very unique and artsy. You can definitely see that the owner has had a career as graphic designer. The house in in the middle of nature and is surrounded by a beautifully maintained garden. The family that owns and runs the place goes beyond everything to make you at ease and make sure to take care of you. Vickey and her mom are truly amazing. People you will not forget easily. Room is great. Lots of space. The bed is a tiny bit small for two tall Dutch persons, but still slept like a rose. Breakfast everyone morning is delicious, fresh and local. It differs every morning. Last highlight of this stay but not the least, is the pet Duck that wonders around the facilities and gives a very homie and cute vibe during your stay.

Beautiful room with stunning view. The whole property was so lovely. Amazing seeing all the animals (2 dogs, a cat, a rabbit and a duck!). The owners were so friendly and kind giving us great information about Taiwan and tips on local food! Breakfast was delicious. Would 100% recommend one of the best B & B’s I have ever stayed in! Wish I could have stayed for longer!

Amazing peaceful setting in the nature. The friendliest welcome (including a free upgrade) and most delicious homemade breakfast we have had during our 3 week trip through Taiwan. The beds were extremely comfortable.

It was a place for recovery, beautiful warm family made us feel like we are the part of the family. Best breakfast and food we've had in Taiwan, comfortable spacious room. Our every need was anticipated and more. Vicky came to pick us up, and the next day we joined a part of the family to the National park visit, they were really caring and fun to hang out with :)

The mattress was not my friend. But my daughter did not agree with me.

The house is nicely decorated, the family is really friendly and they appreciate the surrounding nature to the fullest. It was a bit a shame we could only stay 1 night this time. Big bonus for the amazing cooking skills ✨

Wonderful hosts and a beautiful setting in the hills. Vicky and her parents all spoke good English and helped us plan our days in Yuli. Also they very kindly invited us to join them for dinner on our first night. We all truly loved our stay at Wisdom Garden HomeStay.

We loved our stay here. Vicky and her parents are lovely people. We got good food recommendations and an even better breakfast each morning. The room was beautiful with big windows so we could see forest everywhere (even in the shower, which was lovely). Boazi the duck and all the lovely dogs made the stay even better. If you are coming to Yuli, don’t miss this homestay!

Wisdom Garden Home Stay gets a rating of 11 out of 10 from us! We loved the location at the skirt of the jungle, the affectionate manner of the family who runs the home stay and the delicious breakfast, which featured everything you could imagine on little plates. It’s a peaceful place where many animals can live a good life - we hope you’ll get the chance to meet Baozi, the white pet duck!

This is a beautiful property in the Yuli area. You will be so looked after by Vicky, Mei and their family. There is no surprise why this place gets such great reviews - the rooms are spacious and comfortable, the views are beautiful, breakfast is delicious and you are treated with such care and warmth. Beautiful property in a sensational garden setting with the most incredible family. Everything is done with love and kindness. Delicious gourmet meals. Lovely art . Friendly pet dogs and even a duck! Our favorite home stay experience in Taiwan! Highly recommended!

not much, maybe just the few mozzies that got in

the owner's daughter was very hospitable and made sure we were well taken care of, helping us buy takeout for dinner as it was getting late after we checked in, preparing a nice spread for breakfast as well as driving us to the train station on the last day.. oh and the dogs are so lovable I didn't want to leave

Treat this as a hotel and you might find it a little remote (unless you have you own transport). Think of it as a retreat for a few days and it is superb. The venue itself is supremely comfortable and relaxing and the hosts go out of their way to facilitate this. Lifts to town were offered (and declined!), but we did take up the offer of bringing back dinner. The ‘simple’ in-house breakfast was the best that we have had on this two month trip away.
