The fact of during the breakfast having the staff trying to sell some activities at prices more than double that you would get at the village. It is already annoying enough being offered of these activities while walking on the beach, that I believe they should let the guests have their breakfast peacefully. Asked for change € to tshilling at the reception and got an exchange way lower than what would get every elsewhere (2600 agains 2750 which you could get everywhere). In my opinion the Hotel shouldn’t make profit of it, but should have this a service and don’t get any comission of it. It is enough already the 5% of paying the expenses by card.

The place is beautiful and very well managed and maintained. The staff is super friendly and really gives a good vibe to the guests and all environment. The food is also good, but there a few restaurants nearby with at a lower price (specially if you look into have some seafood).

This Hotel is my favourite place in Zanzibar. Incredibly kind staff, always looking for a way to please the guest. The Hotel ambience is very great, with chilled wibes. This was our second stay in the Loop, the breakfast is delicious, and the dinner menu is also very great. Free wifi, clean bathrooms and cozy beds.

The food options could be improved.

This place is so cozy with the beautiful pool and beach views. We loved staying here! It was super comfy and peaceful that we decided to extend our stay. The garden room we had booked was small and tight in the entrance to the hotel. It wasn’t in a garden! We asked to move and had an upgrade for two nights and spent two nights in their duster hotel La Luna. Both were great but The Loop the best. The only problem with both hotels was the constant music playing in the bars restaurants and round the pool. Elton John singing Candle in the wind was a bit much for breakfast in Africa!

Top shelf, my adult son and I thoroughly enjoyed the LOOP. The staff, thanks Rachel :) and everyone who we dealt with were friendly and ensured our needs were always met. We enjoyed the Pool, the Beach, our room, the bar and everything to do with the facility. We loved our staff.

The view is awesome! There are several places in the hotel to relax and enjoy the journey. The rooms are very beautiful and the service is excellent! The staff were very nice and caring. We tried a lot of plates from the menu and all of them were delicious, big thanks to the chef 🙏. All the team was always welcoming us with the smile.

Could add some mini fridges to the room- water gets a bit too warm at night in the room, but this did not impact our perfect vacation.

Great location, you forget about shoes. Staff is amazing, everybody is friendly, food is great,try the seafood and Swahili style octopus , drinks are spectacular- try the cuba libre and margaritas.

Having traveled to over 25 countries and stayed in various resorts, hotels, and hostels, I can confidently say that I've never encountered a service quite like this. The staff here is exceptional, the hotel is impeccably clean with spacious rooms, making it the perfect place for relaxation. I highly recommend it. An outstanding gesture was when they offered me a room for the night, free of charge, despite my very late flight until 2 am.

We spent our honeymoon in Zanzibar and went to several places. But no place was as magical and great as „The Loop“. The staff is a 12/10 !!! Monica has such a positive vibe! We were welcomed so warmly and our hotel room was even decorated. Everything was very clean. The staff is very attentive and noticed that I had pain in my foot. Monica came right to me and gave me some medicine to make me feel better quickly. The food and drinks were very tasty. There was great music playing by the pool that will forever remind us of our vacation. When you order a coconut, you will get a fresh coconut from the palm tree. A dream. Thanks to all! It was win unforgettable vacation for us.

A very minor issue - there was plenty of shelf space in large walk in wardrobe area but no real hanging space.

Comfortable rooms (with mosquito nets), most of which look out onto the pool area. The pool area is stunning and leads directly onto the pristine white sandy beach, with ample sun beds for everyone. We loved that the sand continued from the beach, through the pool area and into the bar and dining area, meaning you never had to wear shoes! Delightful friendly staff and good breakfast choices. The whole resort had a lovely relaxing chill vibe, perfect for couples and adults wanting to unwind. Highly recommend.

The restaurant service was not a good standard and quite expensive compared to some other restaurants in the area.

The rooms were very comfortable and had everything that you needed, including a nice hammock outside, fan + aircon, and place to wash your feet before entering. The pool was great and immediately next to the sea

A beautiful place second time staying here! Truly relaxing stay in a lovely area. We loved the food and drinks available and the pool area is perfect, just a few steps away from the rooms. The best thing about this place is the staff, they are so accomadating, friendly with positive energy. Monica as always you are a ray of sunshine and thanks so much to Mary who took us to see the local school upon request. Thanks also to Elizabeth for showing us round and being so friendly and all the bar staff who made our favourite drinks! Nothing is too much to ask and the organisation of excursions was great. The fact that the resort doesn't offer an all inclusive package is a bit of a drawback. This causes delays in the checkout process since you've got to check that your bill is correct. We also feel that they need to improve their order management and billing system because drinks, excursions, etc.were added to our bill that we didn't order or partake in.

We loved the design and attention to detail in the rooms, lounge, and the entire resort. The food was really good quality, you can see that all of the ingredients were organic and healthy. The swimming pool is awesome, and very refreshing in the heat of the island. Another advantage is the ability to really relax and unwind. There's plenty of space for all guests to get a sun lounger and a spot next to the pool. The staff were very friendly and helpful too!

Relaxed luxury feel. Quiet location, with a local feel, but has everything you need. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The pool was excellent, with plenty of sun loungers. The "Superior" room, was lovely and spacious.

Everything was fine. Unless you are into water sports etc there is probably a limited range of things to do but its proximity to the beach and presence of a pool would appeal to families. Sockets were the European type unlike the British type in another part of Tanzania. We borrowed 2 adaptors . It wasn't easy to plug in the adaptor and still be able to use the table lamp which was plugged into the same socket.

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and they even dried our swimming clothes on the day we were leaving in a tumble dryer at no cost to us. It was a bonus to us on our final day of being able to use the swimming pool and they even provided towels to use the swimming pool shower afterwards. This was greatly appreciated as we officially checked out at 11am but our taxi wasn't due until 8pm to take us to the airport so we could chill out at the resort. They stored our luggage in a separate room. Mosquito net around the bed even though no evidence of their presence. Breakfast was quite good.

Our room was next to the last table of the restaurant so the first two nights were difficult because some French guys were making a lot of noise and we couldn’t sleep on time as we had early waking up at 4 for safari. But that is not entirely the hotel’s fault. It’s basics. If a restaurant or a bar closes a specific time you should get going and not drink or have a loud conversation or laughs. Some people do vacation for rest some other for drinking. It’s all about respecting each other.

The location was good, the staff friendly and above all we loved that everything was in between sand. Juices and Margaritas good, the food at the restaurant also.
