The lodge is very large and it can probably be noisy when it reaches capacity. There were only a few guests when we stayed there. It needs some TLC. After ordering the dinner it took over 1 hour before the food was ready. The restaurant was not full, just one group of 8 people.

The location of the resort is very nice but if you are looking for a quiet place, it is better to stay on one of the islands. They have a bonfire at night where you can sit and relax. The massage was very good.

We had the impression that the interior decoration is not very new anymore.

The environment of the Bunyonyi lake is impressing. Spacious room. Food is good, prices are reasonable. Personnel very helpful and pleasant.

Unfortunately, not all guests were as considerate as they could have been which led to a few interrupted nights sleep. My bed had many creaks

Location was just amazing and the staff were some of the friendliest and most helpful I’ve ever met!! We did have a problem with the noise levels of other guests, and the General Manager, Brigit, was simply incredible and did all she could to apologise and rectify a problem that was not her fault. She is the best!

I loved the setting, the view and the customer service. The staff were so friendly and welcomed us on the first day. The accomodation was clean. I loved that it has a balcony with a beautiful view of the lake. I really enjoyed their food.

We booked a tent for 2 people and the bed was really small. Food took long and was overpriced.

Very nice views! The tent and shared facilities were nice and clean. The restaurant is a nice place to sit in the evening with a campfire burning.

The double bed in the tent is quite small and narrow, I’d recommend to reconsider if you are above 180 cm! Coffee for breakfast was a bit disappointing, but this is just personal taste. Didn’t try the bar, maybe they can offer classic, espresso type.

The resort is well equipped, shower/toilet blocks are comfortably close to the tents, clean, always have toilet paper, hand washing soap as well as hot water. The tent is very nicely located and has lots of space, one plug inside and one outside. The à la carte dinner we tried was very nice, the breakfast also offers enough variety. The resort offers a number of activities but not forcing anything. It’s a big resort, they could host large groups, but there is enough space between the cottages and tents, it doesn’t look crowded at all.

Difficult to reach via dirt roads. Wifi is not always working, well. Very hard beds.

Nice and relaxing location next to the lake. Different possibilities to explore the lake with different boats and canoes. Large rooms.

The whole mess is organised chaos. Beautiful facilities, backed by sheer incompetence. They will struggle to get a meal out in less then 2 hours if they get more then 5 customers at any one time. The management blames the workers, workers blame the management. It's a bundle of incompetence, it could be such a nice place if the establishment gave it half a chance. Dare I say, even they have given up.

Don’t book through booking.com. We booked for two tents but when we reach the hotel the tents are not available. Even management doesn’t want to give the alternative rooms also, they are forcing us to pay more money for the rooms .

At check-out, the receptionist tried to charge us almost double the amount on my Booking.com reservation. After reaching out to Booking.com, they confirmed the correct amount was the one indicated on the reservation. The receptionist was generally slow and got aggressive when I discussed the price, making the experience quite poor (hence the low score). He also mentioned we're the first clients ever to complain about being charged more than the Booking.com amount. Just a heads up for anyone planning to book here – keep an eye out for unexpected charges!

The rooms and tents were really nice and comfy, and the best part was the stunning view of the lake. It was nice waking up to such a beautiful sight every morning!
