Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. QatarI liked everything so far. The only problem I had was that there was one small dirty towel in the toilet. Despite this, the hotel is great.
The location was the best. It is located in the center of the Old Quarter, so it is easy to walk around. There are so many shops, restaurants, travel agencies, and exchange centers around. There was even a good massage place beside the hotel which my boyfriend and I went to every day. The costumer service is great. They took care of us very well. Peter was very reachable and accomodating and so are the other staff. They even prepared breakfast for us earlier since we had an early day trip. The breakfast was also nice. There are some appetizers which you can get on your own and they also have a breakfast menu which you can order. They have a variety of food such as Eggs Benedict, Omelette, Pho, and many others.

IndonesiaMy first appreciation goes to Mr. Peter who since day 1 I book the hotel through booking.com has been very communicative and helpful with all the questions about Vietnam and with the Halong Bay day tour which is very recommended. Thank you very much Mr. Peter. The Hotel location can't be better since even it is located in the middle of the old quarter, its still quiet because it goes to a side street from the main street. Hotel is also clean and lift works well. When I go to Hanoi again, I would stay in Aviary Hotel again.

Great herbal tea all day, helped organize day trips, laundry offered, great breakfast Staff were also extremely helpful - I left my wallet at a coffee shop during a day trip 2 hours away in Ninh Binh. They coordinated with the coffee shop and managed to retrieve it. Mr Peter and Max were always on hand to help.

The location is at the Old Quarters, within walking distance to Hoan Kiem Lake, and all the great coffee shops, souvenir shops and restaurants. Mr. Peter, the hotel manager, is esp. attentive to the needs of guests. In fact, he had a driver waiting for us at the airport, ready to take us to the hotel even when our plane was delayed for more than an hour. Breakfast is included in our package and they have teas and coffees available at the lobby day and night.

United KingdomFor me, this is one of the better hotels in the old quarter for a 3 - 4 day stay for people on a budget. The location is excellent for first-time travlers who want to be in the heart of tourist vile, and noise from outside is low. This is due to the windows opening onto a brick wall if requested, which is fantastic. Trust me, a hotel with a balcony in any vitmanese City is a no-no as car horns are constant.

We stayed 2 nights. Upon our arrival the receptionist staff was very professional and gave us a great welcome. The Customer care Manager Peter stayed in touch with us until our arrival, and he also arranged our excursions for the next 5 days. He was so kind to give us free room upgrade and free breakfast. They also allowed us to keep our suitcase while goin on excursion even if we had no room booked for the next day. Really great experience, we recommend this hotel, in the center of the old quarter.
