How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The view, the privacy, the quietness and the hospitality of the staff created a good stay in Sapa. Breakfast was so tasty. Highly recommend!

Our stay at the hotel was truly wonderful. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and at home, and their kindness left a lasting impression. The food was absolutely delicious.

Bed is comfortable and the staff is nice and friendly. Can book the tour rent the motorbike easily. The bathroom very clean. Hot water is always available.

I stayed in the VIP suite of the hotel, which has a bathtub in the bedroom next to the window with a beautiful mountain view. The hotel is located in a village on the edge of the city; it is a lovely village, however, there are also many cafes with very beautiful views. The hotel is suitable for those who do not like staying in crowded cities, but still need a room with full amenities and a great view

I had a great stay and wifi was really good! Staff was great and responsive! They would recommend places for you to do and see i Sapa. My room had a balcony. Nice view and lighting in the room.

The breakfast options, help from the staff to book bus tickets and to get general information, how accommodating the staff was. The room was very clean, the towels smelled good, the AC/heater worked well.

We had 2 separate rooms with bathroom & shower, toiletries, comfortable bed. Everything was clean and working properly. The stuff team was very friendly and helpful. We used their laundry & shoes cleaning service after trekking activity, it was well done for reasonable price.

So far this is my favorite accommodation in Vietnam!!! Owner is very nice and the place is legit amazing. Especially the rooftop swimming pool with a very beautiful view. Bed is very comfortable and every detail such as towel make this accommodation look like at least 4 star hotel! I would love to come back to sapa again just to stay here and rest.

We had a great experience staying at En Hotel! The owners are so friendly and will always check in to make sure you’re happy with everything. They let us check in very early the morning of our arrival after an overnight bus and got the room ready for us within a hour! We stayed in their new hotel next door and it is breathtaking! The lady “Ud” (apologies if misspelt) is so sweet! The room is spacious and comfortable. It is a very clean hotel with stunning views! The breakfasts were very tasty! Would highly recommend staying in this village everyone is so friendly & it’s so wholesome seeing the kids play on the road in the evenings! It’s a 25 minute scooter away from Sa Pa but we knew that when we booked this hotel and we were happy to be away from the hustle and bustle! Couldn’t recommend this hotel highly enough!
