Pictures are better than reality. Rooms were run down. We got an interconnected room. Shower was like warm, terrible pressure. The baby cot also collapsed when we put our baby in it. It was old and dirty. They replaced it quickly but I didn’t trust it. Location is in a really pumping party part of town, lots of bars and clubs. Fun to ppl watch.

Some rooms were dismal (lighting was poor) and windowless… The rooms with balcony were better but not interconnecting. Bathroom was dated & black color with dim lighting did not make it appealing

There were a couple of issues such as missing small personal items--- tube of toothpaste, body wash. Amenities were not replaced. Bath area was not cleaned.

Good central location, comfortable and well equipped… BUT, we accidentally broke the shower gel bottle and were charged £18 for it (the room cost £32), expensive even by UK standards!

It's basically on beer street and you can hear (and feel) it all night long. The walls were literally vibrating with the karaoke across the street - so if you're planning to come and party, this place will meet your expectations!

We booked this super last minute and they were really accommodating for us - it was during the lunar new year and we were very happy to find a friendly spot to stay when everything was booked.

My partner thought the room did not smell fresh, but I didn't notice anything. We did not have a room with a window. Otherwise reasonable accommodation for a reasonable price.

The location and the staff were lovely. Didn’t realise when I booked it, how close it was to Beer street but it wasn’t too loud but if you want a really good nights sleep I would avoid.

Shower was weak on water pressure. Service was good but asked for payment before taking to our rooms but otherwise v friendly and helpful. Hotel is opposite a busy noisy tourist bar, they even offered ear plugs for sleeping if we needed them. We had room at the back. The location is known as beer street so it's busy and yobboish - would suit some travellers!!

Pictures does not represent the reality. Hotel and rooms require renovation. This is an old 3 star hotel as per European standards. This is nearby the beer street. Either you have a room for the street and you can't sleep or you get kind of a blind window to a neighour.

Lighting is bad, hotel is dark. It could be better with more lighting and brighter floors. The carpet was creepy. I don t like black tiled bathrooms. Breakfast was meh....

We struggled with the excessive noise at night. We did not realise how close we would be to the nightclubs. We expected hustle and bustle of people, but did not expect to have a nightclub on the street right outside the single glazed window. It felt like the nightclub was inside the room. It is not suitable for a family when you're trying to get the children to sleep. However, if you are going out at night and enjoying the night life where the music going on past midnight does not bother you, then the location is perfect. Also, whilst the decor is lovely, the hotel could probably do with a bit of refurbishment to freshen it up.

Staff were very pleasant and friendly. They communicated before check in to ensure that we had everything we needed for our stay and to ask if we wanted to book trips or taxis. They were persuasive but did not try to make us book anything that we didn't want to do.

The good location comes with a lot of noise at night, across the street is a beerpub with karaoke. One of our rooms was on the streetside and it was a bit too clear that drunk tourists cannot keep tone.

The location, in the midst of the old quarter is great. Staff is very friendly and supportive. The rooms are small and a but outdated, small shower but comfortable.

Bathroom was may be needs a freshening up as it smelt a bit mouldy and as there was no window to air out The street is noisy as hell so I would never stay here on weekends including Friday.

Very small space for a family room, low water pressure, bed bugs, on and off hot shower, drunk people in front of the hotel after 6pm are aggressive. ACU in the room is not stable, on and off even automatically.

Hard mattresses and low powered showers. A few things in the room could do with fixing. Depending on where room is located can be very noisy. Staff pressuring guests for 10/10 review but facilities don’t reflect this. Not clear whether breakfast is included

First of all the hotel pictures look amazing in the reality the hotel looks nothing like the pictures. Breakfast was poor and limited (you can choose only 1 item from the menu), Wi-Fi terrible connection (even the TV would loose connection frequently), shower was terrible (shower head spread water everywhere, low water pressure and water leaked through the glass walls), noisy air-conditioning, there was a lot of details that wouldn’t make this a 4 star hotel.

I was highly recommend canceling the booking through Booking.com. I was lured in by the promise of a free breakfast. The room was extremely noisy, with every sound from the surrounding rooms echoing through the walls, making it very difficult to sleep. The breakfast service was also lacking – the staff was inattentive and slow to respond. However, the reception staff were very friendly and welcoming, which was the only highlight of my stay.

The location is great, a lot of things are within walking distance.

The location is in the centre of the old quarter but I hadn’t realised when I booked that it was on “Beer” street. The noisiest street in the old quarter where music was very loud until the early hours of the morning. I think people should be aware of this when booking. Unfortunately the pictures in booking are not a true representation of the property which is now very tired and the balconies unclean. A very wide angled lens must have been used.

The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. They arranged tours for us. Allowed us to store our luggage and have use of a shower and changing facilities after we had checked out.

Beds were very uncomfortable.

Staff were lovely and super helpful regardless of what was required. Location excellent! With all the noise outside in the ❤️ of the action, rooms were very quiet. Shame the beds are reminiscent of planks of wood - it didn't help we were sick a few days and bed ridden. Live and learn - and will search "bed" on future booking.com reviews.
