The owner is the kindest person in Vietnam i can promise you that. The room is great, big and clean. The place itself is very nice and quiet with places to chill. But the highlight is the definitely the amazing woman who runs the place, she will give you such a welcoming smile and atmosphere, help with anything (from bookings to free laundry, cafe etc)

The water in the sink took a while to go down but it didn't affect our stay at all.

Ngoc was an incredible host. She was smiley, welcoming and so helpful - even hanging out our washing for us, providing coffee and smoothies and waking us up for our 4.30am tour when we slept through our alarm 🫣. The room was clean, comfortable and the location was close to some cafes and restaurants although a bit of a walk from a cash machine. Would 100% recommend. We probably won't come back to Mui Ne but if we do we will certainly be staying here again.

🌴 Firstly, Chi Ngoc was super dope in transferring me into a large double room even when I was a lone traveler. She was very accommodating with yoga materials when I told her I commit to a daily meditation practice. She was even kind in inviting me to join her in eating the local crab catch for dinner. The accommodations were satisfactory and having the chance to spend in-between times in the house's garden were very serene and peaceful. Ngoc was very hospitable and even helped my booking for a bus return to Sai Gon. I'm keeping in touch with her for when I return to Mui Né. Cam on Chi! Bảo trọng nha?🌴

My stay at Gem’s house was amazing! The facilities are really nice, especially the big garden. The owner is super friendly and offered me coffee and food. She also helped me book the sunrise tour as well as a bus to Ho Chi Minh City. Would definitely stay here again!

It is a beautiful villa set just back from the road that is so it is quiet (relatively). Room was lovely and clean. We could use the kitchen and washing machines which really suited us. Value for money was great and on top of it all our hostess was lovely and so kind! Always helping us and offering us mangos and coffee!

A lovely place to stay in Mui Ne. From the moment I walked in Ngoc was so kind and welcoming. Many times she offered me dinner, coffee, tea. She has such a big, generous heart and treats you like family. I was made to feel at home right away and as a solo, long term traveller it was very much appreciated. It is rare to come across hosts as genuine and caring as Ngoc and her family. The room was spacious with comfortable beds. AC and great wifi as well.

Loved staying here 🖤 The owner is incredibly nice and did everything she could to make it a nice stay! She even brought me to the restaurant by scooter when I said I was running late. She doesn't speak English but we used Google Translate which works perfectly. Free coffee, tea, water, toothbrush, haircomb and even razors 10/10 recommend 🖤

Ngoc, the owner was very kind, hospitable, and entertaining. The place is beautiful and everything is harmonious. Nice coffee and free do-it-yourself laundry is available with their two washing machines. A very peaceful stay is guaranteed if you stay here and I highly recommend staying here.

The host took care about everything. I was only one night at Gem's Guesthouse. I got a special prepared Lobster, lunch package for my bustravel organised, free coffee, tour and scooter was organised for me on request. With a scooter/moto you have easy access to all beaches and bars.

Our first evening it was quite loud because of some karaoke in the neighbourhood using their speaker on maximum… wasn’t like that the other nights though and stopped before 11pm. Also when booking a tour (e.g. jeep sunrise tour) here be aware that this includes some sort of “tourist-trap”, as you are more or less forced to buy a quad-ticket on arrival at the dunes, or else you can walk but it’s not enough time to reach the main dune before sunrise (we did that, was still nice and we avoided standing in the crowd on top that way). Just know the low price for the tour has a reason as most pay more during the tour. We wished for a heads up from our host lady about that since booking it with her, but it’s not really her business so it didn’t affect our star rating.

Super nice host lady, always offering coffee, tea, help etc. and trying her best to make us feel comfortable. Free laundry and several towels were a plus!
