Not as expected; I was underwhelmed by my stay here. Would not recommend unless you are literally staying one night. There’s a difference between cheap and dirty. The property does not look as shiny and fresh as the pictures on the website, and feels run down. - I stayed in a private room that turned out to have no windows - there was a curtain but it looks out onto an interior window into the corridor. Glass pane inside the door let in light from the corridor all night. Room was absolutely tiny, although bed was comfortable. - On the 2nd floor, the shared showers and toilets are literally just in the corridor, right by where you get out of the elevator. At one point I had a choice between one toilet with a broken lock and another that had bugs crawling on the seat, and at another point there was a bug in the shower along with a dark clump of hair. The staff didn’t really seem to care and were very casual with general tidying of the place. - I dropped off some laundry and paid, but when I went to pick it up, got asked to pay again - I could tell the member of staff was trying it on because of how easily they backed down when I said I’d already paid. - When I initially asked about an airport transfer the lady behind the desk said ‘350k oh no wait sorry it’s early in the morning so it’s 450k’. I felt this was a scam and later asked to book with a different member of staff who made the booking at 350k, proving me right. - Breakfast was stale cereal and soggy plain white bread. Fine for free but very mediocre. - That said, the staff were able to organise me an airport transfer at the last minute which I appreciated as my other plan fell through - The location is very good for accessing the old quarter and is easily accessible from the bus from the airport

They offer breakfast but the truth is quite bad, there is only some toast and butter, there are no fruits, no eggs or anything like that, they also offer coffee and tea all day but it is not true, it is even limited in breakfast, once it is over there is no more. I chose this place because it had breakfast included but it leaves a lot to regret because if you have some intolerance you can’t eat anything. There is a construction next to the hostel, which makes it very noisy and dusty

It is clean and the beds are comfortable, they have an elevator which helps a lot with your things.

False advertisement at max! My room was so small I could only turn 360 around there was no space. I had to stand on the bed to get changed. The room was also dirty with so much dust that I was sneezing so much and the walls are extremely paper thin I could hear absolutely everything. A local guy was screaming on the phone at 2am I think he works at the hostel and using the rooms. No respect for guests They also accused me of not paying for my 2 nights stay the whole 3 days I was staying there. Luckily I had proof on my phone by taking a picture of me paying the manager. What manager forgets about their customers payment.

Really the only thing good about my stay here was the location.

The toilets and showers each have a fan that makes too much noise, it can be heard in the rooms and it is too annoying, specially at night. I told the owner as feedback and she couldn't care less, ignoring me completely. I would look for a hostel in the area around St. Joseph's cathedral, it's nicer and quieter. The first night I was given a room that was disgusting (very dirty walls). She moved me to another room the next day but kept on renting it out to other guests instead of locking it and painting it. Bad management!

Location. The beds are comfortable and the hot shower is good.

Project curtains weren’t the best but iv had worse. And no free drinking water which sucked but also again, not the worst thing

Really recommend! Very comfy, decent lockers (not huge just for small stuff), separate showers and toilets, good water pressure with hot water, location was fantastic (walking distance to everything in old square) One of the more comfy places iv slept, highly recommend!

Nothing to complain

Thank you so much to the hostel staff for helping me out! I arrived in Hanoi early in the morning, two wheels fell off my suitcase, I urgently needed to buy a new one before next flight. The lady at the reception said that I could get an early check-in for free, plus they upgraded my room to a private one, which I am very grateful for! I left my things and went to get a new suitcase. When I asked how I could dispose of the old one, they told me not to worry and that they would dispose of it themselves after the New Year holidays. Amazing and understanding people work here. Thank you for everything!

Essential toiletries were missing. Breakfast was very poor and no options (only bread, muesli without milk available, coffee).

Communication was not good. The lady at reception has been rude and kind of aggressive towards me (besides not speaking a word of English), just because I had to knock around midnight since I had forgotten the building entrance code, which could be sent to guests via Booking anyway. Would have been happier paying a higher price but being treated politely.

Did not feel safe here as a woman. This isn’t a backpackers hostel and my room was full of Pakistani men who stared at me all night and kept trying to flirt with me. Very uncomfortable. Super loud and smelly. Paid for laundry service and they lost some of my clothes and gave me someone else’s socks. Don’t recommend.

It had no atmosphere and none of the usual good hostel vibe. Staff were pleasant but offered no more than a room key. Breakfast was poor but the breakfast area was OK.

Location is excellent. Right in the old town but down a quieter side street. Check in was quick and easy and the hostel felt safe. Shower and toilet areas felt clean and were easily accessible.

I had a wonderful stay in the private room with a shared bathroom. The bathroom was impeccably clean, and the overall cleanliness of the facility made me feel like I had booked a private room.
