How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The rooms were incredibly cold, the aircon is on very high. It gives the feeling of walking fridge, not possible to set it lower, bud the bed has curtains so it helps a bit. It is not maybe the greatest place to meet people. Most stayed night or so.
The beds are comfortable, you can choose the large bed when booking which makes difference and gives extra comfort. It was very good value for the stay with breakfast included.

I spent one night in a dormitory and it was clean and comfortable. The staff was kind and friendly. The establishment offers double beds in the dormitory which is nice and also a luggage storage service with lockers if you want to leave your luggage in Hanoi during a trip to other places in the north of Vietnam.

The toilet and the shower in the same place, so it's always wet. The rooftop is not that comfortable.
Great value for money, really nice staff, good beds, and good atmosphere.

Hostel in a great location in Old Quarter. Very nice breakfast considering the price we paid for our 3 nights stay. Unlimited fruits and bread and eggs etc. Worth the money u pay for ur stay

Very comfortable bed! We like that we had a twin bed that we could share as a pair. The breakfast was nice at the rooftop. Finally, we like the elevator.

Bathrooms were a bit dirty and should be cleaned more often.
Good and clean beds. Location is great and central. Good breakfast buffet with eggs, pancakes, bread and fruit. Great value for money.

They did not know that it was not allowed to shout and make big noise after 00.00 and so I got up several times

The ladder to climb to the upper bed is not convenient. Bathrooms could be cleaner and the showers could be better. The complimentary breakfast was not adequate for all. Many were not replenished after a while, for the latecomers.
The beds were big and comfy!

The shared bathrooms were quite dirty and it was really hard to have a hot shower, hot water stopped running all the time. The AC in the dorm was extremely cold. The staff was rude and busy with anything other than doing useful things.
The capsule itself is great, large and comfortable mattress, convenient socket and shelves, good lighting, clean bedsheets. The breakfast is a buffet with eggs, bread, pancakes and fruits, not so delicious but doing its job.

Bathroom showers were ok but water goes everywhere.

the ladder to the top bed was nothing like the pictures, so it was unnecessarily difficult to get to the top bed. Also the bathroom area smelled really bad and whenever someone took a shower, the whole bathroom including the toilet was completely wet, which was uncomfortable for everyone that wanted to go on the toilet afterwards.
I stayed in this hostel for one night, because I had a flight leaving the next day. The beds were fine and comfortable The staff was nice and let me store my bags there the remaining day after checkout. They also offer a good laundry service.

Bathroom situation is not well designed. 3x bathroom/toilets per floor for c.30 people, meaning that they were often occupied and also dirty. Also have a switch for hot water so if you're first up, it's a cold shower. The hostel is also more like a dorm than a capsule hostel. The blinds only offer visual privacy, unlike other pods that have doors. Aircon also doesn't reach into the pods if the blind is down (though there is a small fan).
Pods are well designed and comfortable. it was great to have the locker within the pod (though not all have this) as it made packing/keeping things secure very easy. The bed was clean and comfortable. Breakfast had good options.

Sometimes a little queuing for the bathroom but it was really correct Be careful there's one chance you will not have a window view, but it's still very nice and comfy
Very large and comfy beds in the "capsule" style The locker is big and in the room. Nice breakfast in the rooftop ! Really nice location, away from the most touristic and crowded part of the old quarter but still very easy to join by walk. It's near a boulevard but the soundproofing is good ! Possible to book many things with the help of the staff, but it can be a bit more expansive

The restrooms/shower rooms were smelling the sewage quite often, which was a bit unpleasant.
The property was very close to the old quarter which was very nice. Also the sleeping area (large bed) was very specious and confortable and there was a big locker to store the luggage. The chilling space on the rooftop was also nice.
