1. The shower holder came out and the toilet floor was flooded. Told the reception that it should be repaired or I need a change of room. When I came back, I was informed that the toilet has been fixed and hence no change in room. However, was upset when I realised that the shower holder was not fixed at all and the toilet floor was still flooded.

The hotel is somewhat old but it functions well. We also stayed at the 4th floor but we had to go few steps down using the stairs to go to our room from the elevator which is hard when you have baggage but the staff are very helpful in carrying the baggage.

The location was perfect. It was close to everything that I want to visit, so I only had to walk. The staff was very helpful. When the airline lost my baggage, they were kind enough to receive my baggage the night before my stay. The staff is very helpful in recommending where to eat and kind enough to arrange transportation when I wanted to visit Incensive Village. They also do housekeeping everyday so you get refills of everything daily. There is also hot and cold shower. The aircon can make the room cold fast and the bed is very comfortable.

Room was only cleaned around 4pm daily. There were bags and bags of dirty laundry lying around at all times. The linen cupboard was just outside my room so sometimes I had to climb over piles of linen to get into my room.

The location was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The location of hotel is spot on. All places are in walkable distance (train street, shopping street, lake). Staff were always very helpful & we booked Ha Long Bay cruise, day city tour & Ninh Binh day tour from them at really good deal. Jenny was always prompt in returning messages. Complete staff is very polite and helpful. They always suggested good places to try Vitenamese food. Rooms were clean.

The beds were worn out, upside down mattress so you can feel the springs, no kettle until we asked, blocked shower so the bathroom turned in a pool. Worst sleep so far in Vietnam.

Bathroom is too small for my fat husband have to climb up n down a stairs to our room not good for old travellers n need help carrying the luggages when check in n out

The bed was so loud everytime you rolled over it would squeak. Also no soundproofing towards the street. Bathroom was so small I almost tripped over the toilet trying to get out of the shower.

We were in room 601 and I’m not exaggerating when I say that this was the worst bed I’ve ever attempted to sleep on. I’ve never known a bed squeak from simply putting a mobile phone onto it, so lying down on it and then attempting to get comfortable was impossible. Neither of us slept a wink during the one night we stayed as it was so uncomfortable and noisy at the slightest movement. Such a shame as the location is superb and the staff were lovely.

I can't sleep peacefully at night because my room doesn't block the sound of horns.

They upgraded my room for free. The location is very good and you can see the cityscape of Hanoi from your room. The staff was very polite and nice.

The room was impeccably clean! The entire place had a wonderful ambiance. If you're looking for an affordable place to stay that is both pristine and charming, I would highly recommend booking here. The location is right in the heart of the Old Quarter, with an incredible Pho restaurant just across the street that stays open until 3 am. You're within walking distance of everything you'd want to explore. My partner and I are definitely planning to return here! 😄

Just about everything in the small economy room was faulty. The bar fridge was totally dead. They replaced it with one that also did not work at all. The television antenna cable was broken and the reception was minimal. The shower head holder was broken and could only b3 used by hand. The PowerPoint at the kettle/table didn’t work so had to use one near the bed

The service provided by the hotel staff was excellent. On top of providing a clean and compact room with the necessary facilities, the hotel staff went a step further and helped us with many parts of our trip like arranging budget friendly day trips (cheaper than many other options that you would find online), sim cards, currency exchange, recommendations for good food, arranging taxis and much more. The hotel is at a walking distance from many good restaurants, night market etc. I would highly recommend this hotel for your budget friendly stay at Hanoi.

- Some parts of our room were really dirty (e.g. frame of the windows with thick layers of dust and a tissue to fix a hole or something in it) - Hotel room didn't look as nice as on the pictures (furniture looked run down) - Doors shut not properly and only with a gap (room door and bathroom door) - A/C wasn't really strong

- Location is really good and central, sights can be reached within minutes, a lot of shops and restaurants nearby - Hotel staff is really helpful and friendly - Hotel shuttle to the Airport really reasonable in price
