How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

They start working in the kitchen at 8 every morning. I woke up every morning scared by the sound of a drill or breaking a wall. I got tired of warning them every morning but they continued working. They stop for 10 minutes and then continue. Including weekends!!!!!
The location is perfect, the staff is very helpful

It not so clean specially when you look under the bunk bed theres so many trash and the toilet stayed there for 3 days and the trash in toilet is not collected properly throw the tissue overflow in the trash can. Great location but I hope they improve their cleanliness. Also if you stay in the dormitory the bathroom is in ground floor if your room is in the second floor you need to go down so not ideal for people who frequently pee or used bathroom in the middle of the night.
Great location in front of the hostel has cheap food yet vey delicious has many servings. Five minutes walk to the beach.

the bed and bathroom door were creaky, the shower is just awkwardly placed and my only window was looking out on the hallway so the curtains stayed closed.
great location if you are planning on going to the beach a lot.

not a super huge issue but would be great if they have a proper common area where all the guests could chill
enjoyed my stay here, the room was lovely and with good lighting. the receptionists were all really helpful and friendly, especially Giang!

- out of 3 showers, 1 was not working, 1 was partially working and the one that actually worked you could not lock the door - I told the stuff but a few days later everything was still the same - some toilets don’t have bins although you are not supposed to throw toilet paper in the toilet

Our rooms was on the first floor, while washrooms were on the ground floor. Secondly, the gaps between the steps of for climbing up the upper bed was bit too much. I ended up hurting myself while climbing up.
I liked the location. 4 mins walk to My Khe beach. And around 25 kms awat from Hoi An. Son Tra peninsula was 10 mins bike ride away.

-The room is nice, but it is quite small and there really isn't a decent common area outside of the room. -You can only pay with cash.
-great location, super close to beach and coffee shops. -Dorm room was pretty nice. Each bed has an outlet, privacy curtains, light, and a small little cubby with a lock. - showers and restrooms were clean.

I didn't except so much noise coming from the mattress for every little move. Find some hard time to fell asleep because of this (and because of someone else but it's not the hostel problem) I also found more confortable the train sleeper I was for a night than the bed at the dorm
The location near the beach is really nice to spend a few times there. Close to many restaurant and coffee. The staff is quiet. The room and bathroom were clean

No common area. Squeaky mattresses. Perspex wall next to bed allowing light in all night from the reception area outside. Also, 2 of the 3 toilets are a bit cramped.

My biggest issue is that the "wall" on one side of the bed wasn't a wall but a frosted glass pane and behind it was the staircase, so it never was close to dark to sleep...

Rooms quite small, no wardrobes and tons of insects (propably due to the uncovered brick walls).
