I have been travelling all my life, and Jan and Lee proved to be the most exeptional of all hosts I met. It is injustice to say I enjoyed my stay there because it was more than that. I felt home in a strange city.

Lovely and cosy space in a centre. Everything was clean, bed were wery comfortable. Staff was super friendly and super kind, we got welcome fruit, breakfast was great. TOP for the price definitely would stay again!

I like EVERYTHING about the property! From the room design, the bed is so comfortable, the room and the toilet is clean, they have AC, WIFI 24/7, they have the amenities, the breakfast is AMAZING, you will have different Vietnamese menu for breakfast and western options everyday made by Jan.

Writing this on behalf of my friend who I booked this for but he said that it was an amazing location and he wished nothing more but to stay there for longer if he could! Such a great location and in the middle of a lot of action - while it's close to the nightlife, couldn't really hear much from our rooms too!

The location was amazing - so close to the Ben Thanh Market (maybe a 10 minute walk) and so close to the nightlife as it's only a few minute walk away in the middle of District 1! Heaps of nice cafes and food options nearby and I have to say, Jan and Lee were so accommodating and lovely! Always happy to chat, help out and make the stay more comfortable!

Being picky here, I like hot shower water , the water temperature is acceptable, but definitely not hot enough to my standard. lol.

1. Very close to the bar street, but quiet itself. super convenient. 2. AC is good, mattress is clean. there is a fridge, very nice to keep some drink in the tropical climate. 3. MR and MRS Lee are quite hospital, ready to resolve any problem raised. 4. Reasonable price for such nice location and service. Won’t regret it.

The owners and staff are super friendly and helpful. Short walk through some interesting little alleys to get to bui vien st. Clean room with comfy bed with mini fridge. Also the breakfast was great, they put a lot of effort into providing their guests with traditional Vietnamese food.

We loved everything!

Me and my girlfriend loved our stay at Jan Hostel! Jan & Lee were some of the loveliest people we’d met during our time traveling Vietnam. Our room was clean and had the comfiest bed we’d slept in during our travels! The location was fantastic, and the hospitality of Lee made our stay even better with gestures such as food and coffee even after breakfast had ended. Thanks so much again Jan & Lee!

Such lovely accommodation in a great location. very close to the busy area of walking street and Ben Thanh market, while still being quiet and luxurious. Free breakfast was beautiful as well. That we didn't stay longer.

This was one of the best places to stay in a foreign city that I have ever had. If not THE best. Jan and her family are extremely friendly and kind as well as very helpful. The location is incredibly good and central, it couldn't have been better. The rooms are very clean with extremely comfortable beds. Me and my girlfriend usually prefer different types of mattresses. But the mattres here had such a high quality that it fitted us both perfectly. You can really see that the whole place is newly made with great looks and quality. The breakfast was extremely good and varied. I never had such good food in one of my accommodations. And it was in strong competition to some of the best foods we had in the rest of Ho Chi Minh City. So yes, I can strongly recommend this place to you and I will definitely stay there again if I come back!
