Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

FinlandRooms were bit too tiny for european people 🙂
Place was in center of the town. Places were in walking distance. But same time was quiet in our room on 201. Buie Vie walking street was very near. On other side there were ATM -s to rise money. We downloaded Grab taxi app. Very fast arriving.

United KingdomThe stairs up to our room!! we didn't go out after we got there because of them, if booking ask for a room on floor 1 or 2
We booked really late, 30 mins before arriving! which was nearly midnight. Our room was on the 5th floor up steep steps so fine for the one night but would be too much for a longer stay. The ac was Ok however there was a fan too which was much better. Beds were comfortable the sheets smelt clean and fresh there was a blanket for cover I would have preferred a sheet as its hot at the moment so I used my sarong instead. Bathroom was clean and bright and had good hot water. For the price it's a good choice the location is down a small alleyway near walking street and the main road, near Hanh cafe if you are getting the bus. Tons of eating choices along alleyway where the guest house is it's a shame we didn't get to try any as this really was a sleepover for us.

AustriaCould have been a bit cleaner Bathroom ist very small and no shower curtains - doesn't matter if your the only one in the room, but with more than one person the bathroom is likely to be flooded
Friendly welcome, quiet street compared to the rest of the area For a quick stay it works well

IndiaThe property is in a narrow alley within the Vui Bien pedestrain zone. It is essentially a backpackers area with bars, loud music and young women dancing around.

AustraliaSome might say there isn't a lot of space in the bedrooms or bathroom but you are paying for a homestay and still very good considering the cost and great value for money.
The host was very sweet and friendly. She got up to let us check out early at 5.15am which was very kind of her. The location is very good, in the middle of an alley perpendicular to bui vien walking street yet you can't hear any of the music/noise coming from the street even though we stayed during new years eve. Very good value for price and we felt very safe.

MyanmarThere is no lift and there was no one to help with the luggage. My room was on the second floor. Since I was staying there for few hours (4 pm to 2 am) as I need to catch my flight to Hanoi, I left my luggage in the reception. So, I had to come down two to three times to take my essentials from my luggage. This might be okay for backpackers. The place is not accessible with taxi since it is located in a small street. But the bikes can go in front of the homestay. You are not allowed to wear your shoes inside and you have to leave outside of the lobby, but still inside the building.
The owner lady is helpful. The room itself and the bed sheets are clean. The place is very near the beer street, hence, it is very convenient to go around. And my room was quiet even at night regardless of the nearby beer street.

United KingdomWe had a lovely stay at this guesthouse. The room and en-suite were clean and fresh, and the whole place felt really homely. In fact, this was the cleanest home stay we’ve stayed at during our time travelling. The bed was comfy and we slept well for the two nights we were here. We were in room no. 2 and we couldn’t hear any noise which we were pleasantly surprised with. The guest house is down a side alley so is shielded from the noise of Ho Chi Minh City. At the end of the alley is the Bui Vien walking street, but we didn’t hear any noise from this either. The location is great, very central so you can get to wherever you need in less than 15 mins on a bike. We were also really appreciative of the woman who runs the home stay, she was very welcoming and was very accommodating for our specific requests. We highly recommend this home stay and you won’t be disappointed. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
