Need water filling stations in every floor at least if not in every room. It was hard to find the switch for the fan.

Nancy and Ocean are the stars of this property. Nancy is just so warm and i am very thankful to Ocean to take care of me when i was unwell. He ensured i have fresh fruits and didnt charge for it. Great Gesture ! The location is good just right next to beer street, hardly 10 mins walk for every important landmark. The free walking tour is extremely good. This hostel and its vibe gets onto you slowly, initially the tour desk guy was a little difficult when i wanted some information but opened up a while later. Also, there is a tour operating shop just next to this hostel, he is very good at organising tours and airport transfers. The hostel is expensive comparatively but worth the money spent. You avoid booking cab from the hostel if you can since its expensive but they do provide good service.

The top bunks can get very hot as the air con isn’t that cold

I had several roommates who didn’t know how to behave in a shared bedroom. Its something the hostel can’t help ofcourse.

Good location, good services. I used laundry service and the bar. Every day you get a free beer around 6:30 pm. Also they have good connections for nice trips

I ended up staying here 3 times whilst in Vietnam. It’s a great hostel. Nice and clean, good size rooms, good location. The staff were what made it for me. Always smiling and nothing was too much trouble. They booked a few of my tours and I had the best time on them! Thank you for all of your help!

The room size itself is slightly small, making it a bit cramped IF your room was full (but not as issue for me).

Probably one the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in. Extremely clean, towels are changed regularly, breakfast was very tasty always, staff are super nice, dropped my key down the side of the bed and they quickly fished it out for me, the social activities they just are also really great.

If you have a low social batter it can be a bit too social but it really depends on your personality and preference what you're looking for in a accommodation

Very social hostel. They organise walking tours and pup-crawls every day where it is very easy to meet people and make friends (also free beer in the lobby every evening). Also it was great that I could leave my luggage at the hostel while I was travelling with lighter luggage to Ninh Binh. Staff is very friendly and helpful and I had a great stay while I was there.

The most comfortable bed I slept on a hostel. The rooms have every you need, lockers, light, places to leave your stuff. Very good location in old quarter. Communal area at reception to sit. This was my second stay and I would rebook with no hesitation.

The hostel can put a sign for guests that there is a possibility to refill their waterbottle at the bar for free, to reduce plastic waste. There's already so much plastic trash in Vietnam.

Stayed here again when visiting Vietnam for the second time. Staff is very welcoming and friendly. Room and bathroom were clean. Comfortable bed. Best location in the Old Quarter. I am happy the hostel removed the yellow ribbon around the towels since my last feedback, I found it not very environmentally aware.

Central location. Very clean hostel. Stayed in all-female dormitory where we had lockers and storage in the rooms. Nancy at the reception also provided really great recommendations. One of the reception workers also helped me get a Grab last minute after the typhoon.

Toilets and showers were cleaned at 8 am when I needed them, so I’d to go to another floor.

Nice hostel in a side street to the very busy area in Old Quarter. Free walking tour to connect people (walking around Old Quarter, going to a local market and visiting train street). Beds were comfy, AC was good and there were plugs and a small locker for personal items close to the mattress and a huge locker underneath the bed. Breakfast was quite good but nothing fancy for 50k.

Nancy from reception was really helpful, helped us book the ha giang loop and optimize our itinerary based on bus available. We also did a free tour provided by the hotel which was nice. Bathroom was clean and the ends are nice and provide privacy.

If you get a bed on the first floor, there is a lot of noise due to reception on the ground floor and the relaxing area on the same floor.

Staff was pretty nice and showed a lot of patience in explaining the areas / destinations to see.

Roommates setting door so locked is locked but door can be pushed open, which then forces the door bounce/slam whenever anyone enters. Plus, anyone can get in your room

Large communal area at reception/bar. Quieter area on 2nd floor also. Location is very central and down an alley which blocks a lot of the noise from Main Street at night

The hostel is great, right in the middle of old quarter but not noisy. very comfortable and clean. Ocean and the staff are very friendly and helped me with organising the Ha Giang tour, definitely will come back every time I am in Hanoi!

Honestly I can’t think of anything to complain about with respect to this hostel.

Personnel was super nice, the activities organized by the hostel were well-planned and enjoyable. The happy hour at 6:30pm encouraged socializing which was an added benefit when you’re traveling alone!

Good hostel, I liked the female dorms on the last floor, beds are comfortable. Location is ok if it’s your first time in Hanoi, but I’d suggest to explore other areas. The old quarter is just for tourists with a lot of tourist traps.
