How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

There was a group singing karaoke very loudly when we arrived which was carrying into the foyer and throughout the hotel.
Hotel was nicely styled, with good options for breakfast and a great view.

Very clean. Staff are all welcoming, especially the manager Lon. Location is excellent and we were able to walk to most places in the city centre. Room was very large,beds comfy. Breakfast was good.

Location was okay for tourists if they were using it as a base for trips. But it was quite a way from the centre, fishing port and the seafront.
Plenty of choice at breakfast, including vegetarian items. Staff tried hard.

There was no where to get any dinner or drinks on the night we stayed and the receptionist suggested a visit to the mini-mart!

Although not a problem for us, the karaoke can be heard in the rooms, and if being used in the evening may disturb if you want an early night.
Our room was a very good size and was very clean upon our arrival. The hotel is very well decorated and all amenities provided were clean. We ate in the restaurant on each night of our stay and our food was always nice and the staff very friendly. The hotel is a very good location if you are looking to do day trips to explore the caves.

Should not expect English in Central Vietnam, but it's absence made for uncertainty. The place was pretty deserted, which was good and bad.
The 14th floor restaurant was excellent for dinner. Breakfast average. Good value.

Typical Asian breakfast with no vegetarian options and - what for some people may be disturbing: Karaoke floor and singing until 22:30. I know this is a part of Vietnamese culture - just a remark to those who search for a quiet space to sleep :). To me it was cute :)

The rooms were slightly too big for our liking. Did not like the window between bathroom and hotel room - but it did not ruin the holiday - more like gave it a bit of character. The pool was cold.
The hotel offered a good night stay and if you like lots of room this is definately a place to go. We spent a bit of time in the bar and had a couple of decent cocktails. Breakfast had a good selection and we left with full tummies.

The hotel is slightly out of the centre with not a lot of local shops or restaurants around it. There is a bar, it is not an established formal facility which, for a hotel of this stature, i think would enhance the guest visit. The bar is run as an ad hoc facility, although the reception staff were very attentive to those who used the area. Not sure the spa staff understand what is being asked of them, gave up trying to use the facilities.
The hotel is lovely, clean, well run, comfortable. Staff at the arrival and reception were exceptional, so helpful and friendly. Cannot praise them enough. Room was superb, instant hot water for shower, ac working, absolutely as advertised. Would have no problem recommending to anyone.

The Western breakfast options were very limited. Asked for honey for the porridge but they didn’t have any. We stayed for 3 nights and only took breakfast on the first day. After that we went somewhere else.
Room was spotless and spacious with great views. Excellent shower, well equipped room. Friendly and polite staff. Excellent roof top pool, well equipped gym.

Almost everything was perfect. Pool a bit cold but that's not a big problem.
