We were warmly greeted on arrival and the service staff were professional, friendly and very helpful. The hotel and room are exceptionally clean and the location was perfect. It's directly opposite the lake in the French Quarter, surrounded by bakeries, cafes and shopping.

Silk path boutique Hanoi will forever be out home in Hanoi. Beautiful old building with modern facilities. Situated right on the shores down the quiet end of sword lake. The staff were amazing looking after us at every step. Making phone calls to confirm our tours, made us breakfast boxes when we had an early start. Remembered what drink we liked. Honestly they made us feel like royalty! I would rate this property higher if I could!

Restaurant was newly opening, and unprepared for our group of 10 although we had reservations. Hotel Staff did everything possible to make up for our poor experience. I hope the chef will make improvements on serving and add additional kitchen staff. I would try this restaurant again when it has more experience in serving guests.

Hotel was beautiful, staff couldn't do enough for you, and the location was excellent. Highly recommend. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in two rooms - before and after a night in Lan Ha Bay. One room was not renovated and quite dark so request a room on a higher floor.

Perfect location in Hanoi - close enough to walk to the Old Quarter, but much quieter on the lake. Incredible staff who went out of their way to make our stay fantastic. Would highly recommend!

Excellent location and incredibly clean and well thought out with amenities, like slippers, robes, fruit plate, coffee and tea. The front desk staff were so kind and thoughtful - we arrived during a road closure day and a staff member walked all the way down the block to meet us in our taxi, and carried our bags for us to the hotel. Outstanding service.

The restaurant felt like one was sitting in a corridor, but was otherwise fine. The unanticipated cultural experience early each morning was unwelcome, but there is nothing the hotel can do about that - it's one of those things. If you're booking a room overlooking the lake, however, you'd be recommended to take either a rear-facing room, or a higher floor room, unless you are a particularly keen (very) early riser!

There was good communication with the hotel to arrange transfers from the airport, and the check-in process was straightforward. The rooms were good, and bigger than we expected. The building itself is typical of the type, long and narrow, and as a result the rooms are rectangular, rather than square, but that doesn't take away from them. The location was excellent - easy walking distance from the French quarter and the old quarter. We were delighted to be right next to the lake, and in the heart of Hanoi.

Perfect location out of the hustle & bustle of old quarter, but a very easy 10 min walk in. Stepping out onto the peaceful lake where locals gather and exercise was just divine. The room was spacious, aesthetic, and comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful & friendly, always welcoming us back warmly.
