Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

VietnamVery nice and cosy homestay. The facilities are clean and good qualities. The guide they work with provide a good bike tour (cooking, workshops,...). The floating market tour was good too.

ItalyWonderful and quiet hotel surrounded by greenery, with attentive and courteous staff as in the best Vietnamese tradition. Bikes available to tour the countryside of orchards and canals in the surrounding area. The guide to the floating market organized by the hotel was excellent: a well-trained guy with good English, very helpful. Excellent restaurant. The structure is a bit far from the city center, but this was an advantage for us.

NetherlandsIt is not about the accommodation, but we were a bit disappointed in the floating market. It was small and felt like a set up for tourist. We didn’t feel the local vibes unfortunately
What a hidden gem, we haven’t found any place like this in Vietnam. It feels like a fairytale. The wooden houses are surrounded by the garden which is well maintained, it feels like you are in the jungle. At night there are small lights everywhere which makes it a romantic place. The pool has a good size and enough sunbeds. The restaurant has a beautiful setting with really friendly staff and a good menu. Because everybody stays in the hotel at night (there is nothing to do outside), you have a nice vibe during dinner. Our kids (8 and 6) had also a lot of fun. They played with the boats in the small river, fed the fish, did some pool and table football and loved the massage chairs. Our room had 2 big beds with some good size mosquito nets and AC. The toilet is inside, but the shower and bath are outside in your own little garden, so you will take a shower watching the flowers and palms. It is an absolute must to stay here if you are looking for a relaxed and idyllic stay away from the city

United KingdomLighting is a little dark in the room, but manageable. The resort does have free bikes to use - 1. they're city bikes ie no gears 2. you have to be very brave (or a very competent cyclist) to navigate the roads, and more so the scooters!
Entering is like going into another realm - you leave the hustle/bustle and general 'scruffiness' of VN and enter an oasis of jungle lushness and calm waters. The reception, relaxation, dining and bar areas are indoors/outdoors and are built from beautiful wood. The accomodation is dotted about within the grounds and is reached by crossing intertwining paths and bridges. The 'rooms' are wooden and brick bungalows, rather colonial in style, comfortable and spacious. First time I've experienced an outdoor bathroom (except for my Grandparents 'privvy' 😉) and I got to rather like it [did only shower once after dark though as Yes there are mozzies etc around]. Haven't mentioned the pool...which is fabulous. The mural is amazing. Food was plentiful with a wide variety of Vietnamese dishes, OH particularly enjoyed the hot pot. All of the staff, without exception, were the most polite and courteous people we met in our 6 weeks of travelling; we felt as though we were very special guests. It is quite remote, however there are a few 'shops' nearby for essentials if required; not too expensive for a Grab into the city.

NetherlandsOur lodge had some minor issues with light fixtures and ceiling fans not working. Also, when we left early in the morning for the floating markets, the shower was cold. But this location is amazing so these minor issues wouldn't keep me from coming back.
The location, how the pathways are constructed, the majestic trees and bamboo, the lighting at night, this place is truly mesmerizing. The staff is nice and the food is too, although there could be better options in nearby Can Tho. We booked just 1 night, but it was probably the best part of our trip. Recommend 2 nights, there is a lot to see and enjoy.

United KingdomIt’s a lovely place, but there is little beyond the resort (no cafes or restaurants). Great for a few days though.
Gorgeous little place with stunning grounds immaculately maintained. Beautiful to sit among the flowers by little waterways. The free bikes allow access to good cycling options. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The fresh fish options at dinner were excellent.

AustraliaNothing, really. Satisfying all round!
The staff were wonderful; they were so welcoming and enthusiastic, and we laughed a lot with them (as they helped correct our poor Vietnamese!). It is such a lovely location and environment that leaving after only 3 days was difficult. Highly, highly recommend for anyone with a young family, or for couples who just want to relax.
