Nothing. However the accommodation is very spread out so if you’re going as a group or want a particular view (on photos) it would be worth mentioning it to the owners. Also it’s worth being organised and taking your food (or order from the owners) it’s a long drive to the nearest shop.

Staff were very helpful, the location is beautifully quiet and the accommodation is outstanding. We loved the braai area and the hot tub/star gazing area. Zebras and antelope walking round were a highlight. A place to really switch off from it all

Everything, the unit was clean comfortable quite and peaceful. Our visitors ( Zebras and springboks )who always come in the morning and evening was one of our joyful moments. Our stay at Aardvark Bioreserve’s Zebra Cottage was truly exceptional. The cottage is beautifully decorated and comfortable, equipped with luxury kitchen appliances, high-quality bed linen, and pure white towels and robes. The pool with a view was a big bonus. The fully equipped kitchen, complete with spices and an ice maker, made meal preparation a delight. We particularly enjoyed the fresh organic produce and free-range eggs provided by the farm. The outdoor fire-heated hot tub was very nice. The cottage is offering stunning unforgettable views of the Milky Way at night. And of course wildlife during the day, with zebras literally metres from your doorstep. We had a wonderful game drive over the impressive huge land, with stunning views. The peace and tranquility of the location, combined with the opportunity to observe zebras and elands from the comfort of the veranda, made our stay unforgettable. The exceptional attention of Annatjie and her staff, along with the contact upfront, made a difference. The hosts were incredibly hospitable, attending to our every need and even surprising us with freshly baked pie, olives, butter, chicken and homemade jam. Their passion for the farm and the Karoo is evident, and they made us feel truly welcome. Annatjie took us to their biological garden to pick their own vegetables, a nice educational experience! In every aspect, a 5/5 experience. We highly recommend Aardvark Bioreserve’s Zebra Cottage to anyone seeking a luxurious and peaceful retreat in the Klein Karoo. We look forward to returning.

Incredible, big, and spacious house and lovely hosts and owners! Loved the luxurious decor and the little hot tub outside. House has everything you can think of, and they have fresh produce on site to order. Wildlife all around. Great space for riding our bikes or going for walks! Completely private and stargazing was amazing!

Essentially nothing. Only thing we mentioned would help is a pool net to fish out bugs from the hot tub and pool.

Unbelievable view, outstanding quality in the cottage with every detail thought of. Hot tub, outdoor plunge pool. We couldn’t fault it. Service and hospitality was excellent even when we had a flat tyre on leaving!

The Aaarvark Bioreserve was a last-minute find for my fiance and me who were looking to escape the hectic world and relax. For me and my partner, the Klein Karoo is a special place to escape, and Aaarvark just made it even better. With a stunning private cottage, luxurious accommodations, a hot tub under the karoo sky, and outstanding service, everything is just perfect. You can use fresh produce from the large vegetable garden, and Aneli made us some delicious vet koek and fig jam. Don't forget to order your karoo meat directly from Aneli. Nothing like karoo lamb chops, ostrich wors on a braai in the karoo while watching the Curry Cup rugby. The staff were so friendly and professional, and nothing was too much trouble. It is a wonderful experience to take a walk on the many trails, especially when you see the beautiful animals that are privileged to live here. We cannot wait to visit again soon.

We loved everything about our stay. Peace and quiet , modern facilities with everything you need. Beautiful setting and nice MTB routes. Annetjie and Alwyn are wonderful hosts and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. We will be back.
