The charm of the property was so lovely! Like an english country house! The room was very spacious as well. It was also very close to Franschhoek town center (walkable!!)

Pool was on the small side and not heated. The room keys were a bit fiddly and our bath plug let out water but these were minor points to a majorly positive stay.

The views were unreal! Staff friendly and helpful, and made my birthday extra special. It was fabulously located, within walking distance to restaurants. And the super king bed so comfortable.

Everything was good

Great location a few minutes walk from the shops and restaurants but away from any hustle and bustle. Lovely setting with Mountain View. Breakfast was superb, excellent eggs Benedict. Staff friendly nothing was too much trouble.

I really cannot fault Cape Vue. I paid more for my stay than I planned to - but got way more than the extra money's worth! It is a small place and they obviously make every effort with every single guest.

Food was amazing. I am vegan and the chef went out of his/her way to create delicious cooked breakfasts. They really made a huge effort to make sure I didn't get a second-best experience - I was never made to feel my diet was an inconvenience.

Beautiful views and locations, rooms were spectacular, clean and friendly, helpful staff. The host was the star of the show by giving us advice, making us feel at home and booking reservations for restaurants if needed.

Fabulous location with amazing views of the mountains and vineyards. Beautiful accommodation, extremely clean and comfortable. Fantastic hospitality from all the staff but especially Dino, who took time to chat with us each morning.

What can I say! The most beautiful property in the most amazing setting. Felt like a home from home. The most welcoming team to greet up and felt like we were staying with family. Suck a welcoming place and we loved the free range style of hosting with the help yourself bar and relaxed atmosphere. We loved our stay and already looking into dates we can come back for a longer visit!

We wouldn’t hesitate to book again, we had a brilliant stay! Met great other guests and even got invited to two of their weddings! An excellent base for exploring the area in Gary Barlow’s footsteps…

A stunning property in a beautiful location! Well located next to the Main Street but feels idyllic and far away from noise. Gorgeous pool and outside seating areas. Dino was amazing and so kind/helpful. We didn’t want to leave!

The place is absolutely gorgeous and the staff are so nice. The bedrooms are luxurious and everything is presented so lovely. They are super generous and their breakfast is amazing. Was a great place to stay for Franschoek!
