Solar pannels were being installed on the roof during our visit - which had we known about - we would have planned our day differently as it was very noisy - but - that was a one off, so not worth making a fuss about.

The location - was just breathtaking !!! More than we could have hoped for !!! The room was beautiful, comfortable and had everything we could need, the patio off the room was gorgeous and the whole feeling of the guest house was just perfect !

Everything was great. Only thing if I had to say, last time we booked the same type of room and paid the same price but this time our room was much smaller and we were a little sad to not have the larger room with more space. Ours was a little cramped with 2 big suitcases out. (We stayed in 5 last time and this time room 6).

Our second time staying at Cape Vue - we couldn’t wait to visit again and it didn’t disappoint. Gorgeous breakfast each morning with lots of selection. The most stunning views, well kept pool and pool area. So relaxing and stunning to sit out and relax. 10/10 comfort of the bed - we remembered this well from last time. Comfiest bed/pillows in the world! Hosts very welcoming and friendly. Gorgeous selection of high-end body wash, lotion, shampoo etc. All natural and smell amazing! Super close (literally a 5 min walk) to the main town where all the restaurants and shops are.

Nothing. However, the hotel is located a short walk (give mins) outside of the main town. This didn't bother us and in fact it was nice to be more in the countryside, but if you have mobility issues it might be a consideration.

Tasteful and smart building, lovely gardens, wonderful staff. Comfy bed. Relaxed environment.

We stayed here during our honeymoon to SA. Everything was fabulous, Dino and the whole team were so attentive and fantastic! We will 100% be coming back. It's a must if you're visiting Franschhoek. The breakfasts were out of this world!

Everything about Cape Vue Country House was great! The property is within 5 mins walk of the main high street and about 15-20 mins walk to the wine tram station. The staff were all so friendly and helpful and the cooked breakfasts were delicious! it's the perfect place to explore Franschhoek and the wine regions from, and also to relax and make the most of the lounge area and stunning pool.

It was my second time at this cozy guesthouse and I’ll be back again. The house is beautiful and the rooms are decorated with so much love for the detail. We also loved the wine from Cape Vue and the friendliness of the staff.

Honestly, I am hard pressed to find anything that was unsatisfactory. It was all wonderful.

The attention to detail was outstanding. Quality bedlinen, comfortable mattress and soft feather pillows. We had the most restful night sleep which is the highest praise I can give since I usually struggle to sleep without my own pillow from home when travelling. The fluffiest quality bath towels and bath sheets in the bathroom, and beautiful cotton bathrobes and my favourite africology bathproducts in the bathroom made me feel like I was in a spa! Quality finishes everywhere - bath fittings, wallpaper, furniture, carpeting, window treatments. A spacious shower with a generous shower head spray and thoughtful extras such as a non-slip mat, shower caps, extra vanity essentials, homemade biscuits, nespresso machine, a selection of Twinings teas, generous sized mugs, fresh milk, complimentary wine and water. All these extras and attention to detail made the stay feel absolutely luxurious. The views were stunning and the garden is beautifully maintained. Breakfasts were outstanding and the staff were all very welcoming and friendly. We will definitely be back again! Thank you!
