South AfricaThere was a problem with the electricity which affected the lights. Not too much of an inconvenience just had to reset the main board a few times during our stay.
It was a very pleasant and comfortable stay. Unit had everything we needed, was very clean, neat and tidy. The extra warm blankets was much appreciated.

South AfricaI think I was expecting the cabin to be on the beach due to the photographs but it is at the back of a property with other cabins and there is not much privacy. Lamberts Bay itself is also not so great,
The log cabin was clean and well appointed, the beds very comfortable. The owners welcomed us and were always available. We only had a stop over and the property was more than adequate for that.

South AfricaThe seating in the living room is not ideal to watch TV comfortably.
Willem and Elke were excellent hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. They went out of their way to assist when we needed a whisk to make a tart and when our braai wood was finished, Willem shared his wood with us. The beds are very comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was good.

BelgiumThe location of this lodge is quite good. In our opinion, ideal for small families. There is a room with a double bed and in the living room there is a pull-out bed for the children. Parking is available on the estate itself. very close to the open air kitchen mousebosskerm (so ideal for a combination lunch + overnight stay). All household equipment is provided. Ideal for self-catering. in the immediate vicinity you will find restaurants and bird island (when the wind is not favourable this of course creates a penetrating pungent smell of bird droppings).

South AfricaWe booked and paid both cabins in Feb 24 as part of a group tour to the area. On the day of checkin mr Faurie relet one unit and put both our couples into one unit sharing a bathroom and even though it’s advertised as a four sleeper it is not. One bed is a pullout at floor level.

The host and hostess are exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Their cottages are fairly new and beautifully decorated and fitted out. Crisp linen and plenty of warm blankets too! We also had off-street parking which was secure. The entire property has an electric fence.
