South AfricaThe staff were excellent and absolutely gave their best however in the evenings it seems the kitchen / bar is understaffed. The barman had to assist the chef in the kitchen and place food orders, leaving the bar unattended. A silly thing- but nonetheless less I feel worth mentioning... every morning our soap was replaced but it was barely used. Although we appreciate the guesture, we feel it was a bit wasteful and would have been happy to use the same soap bar for the duration of our stay - The same with our toilet paper, we were given x2 brand new rolls a day. We would have gladly used them from beginning to end. It would have been nice to have a bar fridge to keep drinks cold. Overall good experience and we want to come back!
We loved the pools. Breakfast was amazing! My omelettes were 100/10. Roomserves was done well. Security was on point - Lovuyo Mcephe escorted us across the road and stopped traffic to get us across the street everytime we crossed. We also could relax knowing our vehicles were behind a secure fence with Security guards at night. Location was great, we enjoyed walking to the water front. We loved that swim towels were provided and that the wifi was strong and actually usable. We LOVED all the wood and the history displayed of the Inn.

South AfricaThey can improve on security at the gate as we had to wait long when we want to enter and exit the premises as this poses a risk of being hijacked or robbed at the gate. There was no chef for two days at the restaurant that we meant we could not order from it even if we didn't want to go out. Overall the stay was good with excellent staff ready to assist

South AfricaThe 2 flights of stairs we had to walk up without a lift. There is a problem with the accounts department . We waited 40 minutes just to sort out our final account when we checked out. The rooms was only cleaned after 3 PM every day. We could not go for a rest in the rooms the entire day as the room was not attended to until late in the afternoon. The cleaners also just left ALL the hotel rooms spare keys in our bathroom and eventually I took it to Reception. This is surely a security breach for the rest of the people staying in the Hotel.
