Network coverage n wi-fi connectivity was so poor. We would access the network when we are dining only.

The breakfast was great. It was delicious. We enjoyed it. The location is far from everything. It’s therapeutic. If one wants to reset, they should come to the place. All the workers from Mpongo are so nice. They have good communication skills.

I enjoyed the scenic drives to the safari for meals. On Sunday, we encountered elephants along the route. The staff was very helpful and polite. The food served was delicious and filling. I enjoyed the wifi as I could share the wonderful moments with family and friends

The peaceful environment, just what I needed. Also loved the no TV in rooms setup. The food was amazing, we loved the fireplace too. Twas so cool to see the animals while having breakfast.

Besides the pool use in summer, they could have more entertainment, as in snooker; card games etc, etc. If it rains there is not much to do, other than reading a book.

The breakfast was great, although the service getting the meal was a bit slow. The dinners were great, and the staff very polite and attentive. The layout of the eating area was very good, and the lit fireplace added to the ambiance and warmth of the occasion. The 2 hour game drive was exceptional and the game wardens were very knowledgeable. It would be nice if the game reserve would reintroduce lions to the park. There was a lot of animals to see on the game drive. Our room was very upmarket and well maintained. We intend going back there in a few months time...a wonderful place to just chill and enjoy nature at it's best.

Exceptional stay at Mpongo Private Game Reserve. Friendly staff, great breakfast and dinner, our room was above average size with a very comfortable bed. The morning game drive was a 'highlight' with an experienced ranger. We managed to see lots of animals. Highly recommended !

Cleaners didn't clean the Chalet properly. There is no fridge in the room nor hairdryer. Food was very bad, as well as limited options. Only thing we enjoyed eating was the chicken sandwich.

In this heat, there's no bar fridge in the room. There's no microwave, no tv, the water was cold, so couldn't take a bath. Room had a mouldy smell. Think the carpet was damp. Toilet floor was wet, seems like there was a leak before we checked in, not sure. For the amount we paid, we had high expectations and unfortunately they weren't met. Couldn't charge my phone, there's no two pin plugs.

The fact that I spent time away from the city, with my better half. Nice and tranquil.
