I wish there could've been a fridge in the room and a smart TV or media player to allow me to watch the things I watch. I struggled very much to navigate the tv

The environment was good, clean and the staff was helpful. The only serious concern we had was water was not clean at all and drinking water provided in the room was not enough as their tap water was not drinkable.

No aircon or fans, TV did not work, no wine in the bar, no recliners at the pool. All in all a very disappointing stay. We left a day early.

Not sure if the restaurant stuff is new or what but they not the friendliest bunch of people. One take our order the other brings our food, not even checked if we had the right crockery we had to even ask for simple things such as steak knifes, salts and pepper. A room next to us was maintained on Sunday morning we were woken up by the guys working in it which was not really considerate of us being there. The cleanliness in the dining room. The chairs are wood but they were all dusty at least those I saw.

The Bed was not comfortable, the TV in yhe kids room was not working the receptionist told me there is nothing they can so about it. I asked about Christmas lunch no one told me to bool it in advance when i got the hotel the kitchen told me we can book in the morning then i was told its fully booked i had to srive away to go have Christmas lunch someqhere coz tbey consentrated on outside guest rather give their own guests 1st preference. I was very dissatisfied that i alao had to ask for fresh towels .

There was a kettle and rusks in the room, but no coffee or tea! The carpets are extremely dirty, and the furniture and decor are outdated. It belongs to the '60s. The place has a lot of potential, but it needs a serious makeover and upgrade. Everything looks tired.

The location is excellent and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was average. the same as everywhere.

Poor maintenance of the driver way,The rooms where not clean, we stayed at 67,68and 69 Villa. room 68 the locks where broken,with visible signs of forced entry. The drinking water was brown.we payed R5000.00 for 1 night.horrible experience.

I didn't like the stained carpets in room 21. The bathroom probably needs refurbishment. At some point, the electricity plugs were dysfunctional in room 55 [the villa], and the TV was not working. Refurbishment could benefit the hotel.

I loved the scenery and the beauty of Magoebaskloof. I enjoyed the misty weather. It was beautiful 😍 🤩 The bedding in room 55 [ the villa] was clean and perfect. Thank you for that. I also liked the body massage, The food was well prepared, thank you to the chef. I hope the hotel can introduce meat free dishes in the future.

The bed was too old and not comfortable. I had to consult an orthopedic after my stay because I had a problem with my spine.

Place is unkept. Everything is old. Carpets workout and rugs dirty. Heater not heating in the room. Buffet was sold the whole day, no starters and dessert R220. Nothing from the menu, forced to have beef bueger. Hai the standard has dropped drastically. No network for TV. Shame do something to that beautiful location hotel

JUST DO A RENOVATION ON THE ENTIRE HOTEL TO KEEP RELEVANT OR ELSE YOU WILL LOOSE CLIENTS The blankets are smelly The show head is bad and the water comes out small and big Renovate your showers and remove that plastic thing. It's so u comfortable when bathing Your toilets are not clean. The tap water comes out brown

There were no water the whole night I ddnt bath and when I contacted the emergency number that they provided no one answered the phone until I wrote a message to them that’s when they answered my call, they told me that they were having problems with the water pump it will be fixed after 30 minutes. And I called again after 1 hour they didn’t pickup, in the morning the water came out dirty so I ddnt bath . I will rate them minus 0

Never gonna get to book at magoebaskloof hotel ever again!!

The place looked good from the outside. My parent’s rooms keycard was not working, the water was dirty we thought maybe if we ran it for some few minutes it would be clean but it wasn’t, I don’t know if it was the pipes or not but it was all brown, we had to brush our teeth with bottled water because we couldn’t put that filthy water in our mouths. When my parents room was changed there was no water in the room and when I asked the stuff for some all she said to me was “you know your parents aren’t supposed to even be in that room and that’s why they had no water they should’ve taken the one in the room you booked for them”, I was like how on earth were we supposed to know that they won’t be getting it in their room and how were we supposed to get in the room I booked for them because the keycard was not working? I didn’t like the way she spoke to me. I’ll never book there
