We really enjoyed the fabulous, rustic setting. Their staff were great... & Lucas was very uplifting.. Lovely to walk down to their eclectically decorated restaurant for fantastic food. Glad we overnighted in Napier.

If you don't like dogs hanging around then maybe not for you, but it didn't bother us.

Great location on the main strip... Nice room with TV, kitchenette and privacy. We had an enjoyable supper at the restaurant.

Parking was not explained to or understood by other guests. This resulted in contacting staff to get the other guest to move their car so that we could get our car parked on site.

Rooms were neat and clean and ample drawers and space to unpack. Room had a small fridge and a microwave oven was a big plus. Enjoyed that Netflix were available in the room. Excellent restaurant facility with a great menu and options what made the stay great was the friendly staff that were very helpful even when they had their hands full with other arrangements off the site.

My only wish is that we could stay in the front bedroom in preference to the back bedroom.

We preferred the front bedroom which we stayed in on our previous stay. The dinner was excellent - everything we could have wished for. We will most definitely return.

Would recommend getting rid of the old magazines and books in the rooms- those are not that great anymore.

Great place to stay. The rooms are a little bit more basic, but that´s totally ok for the price. Food was excellent and the staff was absolutely great! We loved the stay!

We had our own dog, and unfortunately, he not only allowed his dogs to free roam all over all the rooms, but he opened them up to run up to our terrified puppy. It's not the end of the world, but it could've seriously offended someone.

Very friendly and helpful owner/manager. Happily and willingly taking us in with our dog.

Blinds in room didn't work & there was a big gap in the door blind-light flooded in & compromised privacy. Could've done with more ground coffee in the room to make more than 2 weak cups of coffee in the morning before the restaurant was open.

Comfortable & great location. Warm & informative welcome by staff. Quaint, Beautiful views. Bed comfy, Nice touch with complimentary sherry on a cold night. HAd dinner in the restaurant as part of a function - good wholesome food & superb service considering how busy they were. Although we didn't have the inclusive breakfast, the restaurant coffee was very good.

Ideally we would have liked sink to wash dishes, but this is a minor issue.

The bathroom is a bit small/narrow.

The room (Blue Cat) was warm, sunny, and comfortable. Loved the garden. The food was fantastic and the staff very friendly! But most of all the happy, friendly dogs were the cherry on the cake 😍. Just to be in this environment was so relaxing!

TV box for Netflix/ Youtube did not work,. Room was hot, ideally Aircon would have been nice

The location was center of town. Breakfast had many egg options however as a nonegg eater there was a limited selection

Lack of sufficient cutlery. Toilet not working properly. Luckily if have knowledge of those toilets. No milk for coffee. I had to go ask for milk.

Lovely garden, tranquil despite being close to Main road. Great menu and convenient. Didn't have to drive anywhere for dinner, just a walk through the garden and you're at the restaurant. Will recommend to family and friends. Enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing stay at Pascal's.
